I want to upgrade my D16Y7 engine. Was gonna do a K20A or H22A engine swap for my 99 Civic LX, but I'll do that in like 2 year or so. My goal for this engine is around 180HP-250HP..
im trying to get proformance header for my civic i just dont know what to go with they said 4-1 are for high rpm power and 4-2-1 for mid range rpm power... what can i go with if i get headers.. i wanna race my car in a circuit so i dont know what i need mid or high
aw man come on lose the paddles and stick with the shiftstick manual tranny. anyway good sounding car, although i do like the civic, i would do a k swap or h swap. d16 is pushing around 110 hp and 105 tq.
the lx engine is a piece of junk when it's stock. It only gets 106 hp which is about the same as a tractor... save up and buy an Civic SI or mod the lx
soooo why do you have a breather on your crank case vent tube, when it involves venting gases not breathing in air? and why do you have another breather on your intake? Dude you should replace those breathers with a vacum hose, that where those crankcase gases go threw to your intake. And there is a breather tube on top of your tranny, where you can put a breather in its place.
is that a real rota flashback or just a "drag" brand wheel? either way, i like it. im gettin a rotta Jmag on mine. then im paintin the center gunmetal.
did you have to get a new exhaust sytstem to put ur headers on?or will headers fit for the d16y7 exhaust syustem?are they the headers ,aftermarket and stock the same lentgh?
