Montreal did get better with the addition of a finisher in Tanguay and an enforcer, George Laraque, but I'm not ready to jump on that bandwagon yet, especially with all the talk about the Habs emerging as the Conference champions. Carey has to prove that he's over his playoff meltdown and has to work on his glove, cause that was exploited by Philly's snipers. The Flyers have a younger team and have more balanced scoring, and are also getting Simon Gagne back(2x 40 goal scorer). We'll see...

The knees hit, no doubt. But for it to be kneeing, the knee has to be extended, or he has to lead with his knee. Coincidental knee contact is not a penalty. It was a bad call, and an unlucky break. Just turned a sweep into a 5-game victory...and cost us Timonen for the ECF as he hurt his foot in Game 5.

take a look at the video from the start. IF he had used his shoulder as you say he did, kovalev's upper body would have been hit backwards or at least turned sideways.
the REALITY is that his legs got spun around clearly indicating that it was a knee on knee NOT a shoulder on shoulder.
