Beautiful song. First of all, I like the music, and about the lyrics, I feel that it is about the re-encounter with oneself, how life events (ups and downs) enrich our experience and we become to retrieve the pure child that we are (as in the end of the video we see the kid is the same person with the young and the old man). The sacrifice has been gave up the innocence of a child to experience different things in life, but at the end we can retrieve that child and be in peace with ourselves.
