  • is their a bob dylan chronicles volume 2

  • Getting rid of the first minute of this video would be a good decision.

  • i'm not a dylan fan but i really enjoyed the book. i like how it was set up and it's always interesting to discover how an artist finds inspiration.

  • i'm sorry, but you don't edit BOB DYLAN'S writing. you just don't do it.

  • im getting chronicles for my birthday, now in june 2009. i am bubbeling over with internal joy. i am norwegian. og eg koste meg utrolig mye, mens eg saag denna filmen. takk takk - thank yuo thank you

  • Amazing interveiw. I bet that un-edited manuscript is worth at least a million if the rest of it is anything like the sample pages you put on positivelybobdylancom you gonna get rich someday. Don't sell it cheap!

  • This interveiw is amazing I wish I could buy that manuscript. This is un-real I never heard he changed the book before it was published.

  • where can I read the unedited version?

  • Chronicles is an awsome book. I felt like he was chatting to me, I felt like I'd been waiting for that book. made me rotfl, and cry.

  • Dylan is still using the same intoducer's voice to introduce his live concerts across the world - everyday, almost...playing and playing...

  • Thx.It tells how it all happened.his memory proves how he see things from a unique perspective.

Yet he is very human like the rest of us.A paradoxical figure.

In '66 ,I was 12 and was so moved by Chimes of Freedom lyrics I posted them on my wall. Somehow what he expressed in words caused my generation to thrust itself forward in a massive groundswell.

Lighter by as important,Tambourine Man seduced all of us in'66,to search for that Diamond Sky. The impact he had was astounding.

    A treasure

  • Chronicles I was amazing!Distinct palpable imagery The way he describes first seeing Dave Von Ronk walking down a cold NYC street's a prime example. It's recall of the winter chill seeing a misty cloud around his local hero,Von Ronk. Makes you feel what he was feeling wandering around the city holed up in the Library voraciously reading old papers about the Civil War,or listening to people ramble all night in a bar Re: old Irish Folk songs.

Really hope there is a Chronicles Two!

  • i think their is supposed to be 3

  • some of the imagery is unreal like when the man who kills his landlord and then his face is left" mishapen, queer formed like putty" i laughed because it was so perfect a description There are countless examples which for me characterise the book....describing christmas at Hibbing with as dickensian was another example. almost transports you there

  • their will be. He,s gonna talk about "Blonde and Blonde" and "The Traveling Wilburys" in it.
