When i play legend of dragoon i kinda feel conected to the story, made me cry same as MGS4, sense then i never bieng able to enjoy the story of other RPG games like final fantasy, so i whent back to the old NINTENDO RPG games like final fantasy and was surprised that this games focused in such a beutifull story and then i knew that games are an adventure story and it should take in the player to that fantasy world.

I would rather not see a remake of this game...at all... This is the one of the few games that has been able to maintain its originality without being wrecked by a sequel or a remake. I didn't even bother going through FFXIII because it was more focused on the eye candy than anything else. I would hate to see the same thing become of this masterpiece.
I always hear people asking for a remake and always hear them comparing it to FF games. I understand that the game is pretty much identical in gameplay as (is it FF 7 or 8?) and while I do not know a lot about FF, if they did do a remake or a sequel then I'd like to see something more original and up to date (despite how awesome the game still is). I remember when I beat this game in one straight play-through cause I lost my memory card. It was like 22 hours and 33 minutes or something. I didn't eat or drink anything. Seriously I was obsessed. Maybe a little TOO obsessed. Just a little.....

Admittedly, I never beat LoD. I ended up getting thrashed somewhere on disc 2 and never got back to it (though I still have my copy, I'm thinking about picking it back up). A remake would be incredible, even if it kicks my butt too, lol. Also, Rose ftw

I believe that this boss was on the 3rd disc but (NO spoilers, I promise) I got stuck on the Grand Jewel for the longest freaking time. I bought a copy off a friend, and beat up to the second disc, the very, VERY END of the disc is in such bad shape, that it goes to the screen right before saying 'insert disc three' and freezes.

@Mathieu0017 o you ran in that small problem let me guss lenus with the water dragon if you have not figured it out do not turn dragoon at all during that fight and you will be able to continue it is a problem the ps2 has or play it on a old ps1 if you have one
LoD is far by one of the best rpgs ever to be created and released in this world..hearing and seeing this again makes me want to find a copy and play through it again to bring back good memories...thumbs up if u agree with me guys
Actually I believe LOD is available for download on the japan PSN Store. Also it's the version where you can get the extra 32 bag slots. Also it's available on amazon.com.
And I also agree best game of all time, I'm actually making a new run thru started last week. I enjoy farming additions and SP for dragoon levels.
After hearing this I swear if I saw the bastard who took my copy with him when he moved out of state I'd kill him. This is one of the very few games where I actually went out of my way to complete EVERYTHING. Unfortunately I was absolutely PATHETIC at the additions so I went and saved up the money for those War God amulets that did the work for me...and then to complete the set with a full complement of Legendary armor and casques...easy button anyone lol?

i got this game when i was ten....it was amazing then and is amazing now it is by far the best game ive played on the playstation one...granted compared to the graphics of the p3 n 360 they suck but are great for ps1 i still own my copy and i play the hell out of it....ill always remember when i stared playing and never wanted to play anything else on the system anymore but tht game....its amazing and anyone who says otherwise sucks ass....praise legend of dragoon!!!!

SN: I highly doubt sony would release it on the ps2 when they need to expand the psn store. Hope there was a way to petition which games get included in there.

I would rather not see a remake of this game...at all... This is the one of the few games that has been able to maintain its originality without being wrecked by a sequel or a remake. I didn't even bother going through FFXIII because it was more focused on the eye candy than anything else. I would hate to see the same thing become of this masterpiece.

I always hear people asking for a remake and always hear them comparing it to FF games. I understand that the game is pretty much identical in gameplay as (is it FF 7 or 8?) and while I do not know a lot about FF, if they did do a remake or a sequel then I'd like to see something more original and up to date (despite how awesome the game still is). This is just my opinion. I won't bother to respond to retarded ass flamers (er, trolls?).

I remember when I beat this game in one straight play-through cause I lost my memory card. It was like 22 hours and 33 minutes or something. I didn't eat or drink anything. Seriously I was obsessed. Maybe a little TOO obsessed. Just a little.....

Admittedly, I never beat LoD. I ended up getting thrashed somewhere on disc 2 and never got back to it (though I still have my copy, I'm thinking about picking it back up). A remake would be incredible, even if it kicks my butt too, lol. Also, Rose ftw

@Shadowbane3 DUDE! PLAY IT!!!!!!! lol It is an awesome game! The end (both cinematic and gameplay) is EPIC!! I believe that this boss was on the 3rd disc but (NO spoilers, I promise) I got stuck on the Grand Jewel for the longest freaking time. You other players know what I mean! xD lol It is worth playing, my man. I wish my PS3 played PS1 games. I may buy a PS2 simply to play this game! Haha

@Shadowbane3 lol, I beat the first disc years ago, and my brother destroyed his ps1 then sold his games.
I bought a copy off a friend, and beat up to the second disc, the very, VERY END of the disc is in such bad shape, that it goes to the screen right before saying 'insert disc three' and freezes.

I would like them to give a few updates, like new enemies (Random or mini bosses)

@AKThor85 It wasnt made by squaresoft it was made by sony so maybe you have a chance! Since obvious if it was by squaresoft they wuldnt do shit. Look at FF7 they havent remade that yet. Maybe Sony will give us a LOD HD version. Doubtful but you can wish. I mean they are making HD remakes of everything else.

Actually I believe LOD is available for download on the japan PSN Store. Also it's the version where you can get the extra 32 bag slots. Also it's available on amazon.com.
And I also agree best game of all time, I'm actually making a new run thru started last week. I enjoy farming additions and SP for dragoon levels.

After hearing this I swear if I saw the bastard who took my copy with him when he moved out of state I'd kill him. This is one of the very few games where I actually went out of my way to complete EVERYTHING. Unfortunately I was absolutely PATHETIC at the additions so I went and saved up the money for those War God amulets that did the work for me...and then to complete the set with a full complement of Legendary armor and casques...easy button anyone lol?

One of most favorite games ever. Couldn't stay put untill it was finished. :D Would be so cool if they would make LotD 2. Would be awesome if it would be the story of Dragoon Campaign with the Zieg, Rose and the first dudes. How it all began. Hell, would buy any platform it would be reliesed on. :D Would be awesome comeback of one of the most original and still one of the best games ever made.

i got this game when i was ten....it was amazing then and is amazing now it is by far the best game ive played on the playstation one...granted compared to the graphics of the p3 n 360 they suck but are great for ps1 i still own my copy and i play the hell out of it....ill always remember when i stared playing and never wanted to play anything else on the system anymore but tht game....its amazing and anyone who says otherwise sucks ass....praise legend of dragoon!!!!

I have played over 200 PSone games.
Many classics, and many great and bad games.
But i have never heard of this game up until a couple of days ago.
Now, i do dislike RPG games with turn based combat, but this song and this video has, made me find it and play it any way i can.
