I doubt the whale killed his trainer because he doesn't like living conditions and was agitated. He probably just wanted to play in the water with her....you gotta remember that whales don't realize that humans need oxygen to breathe and that they can't stay under water for long periods of time.
We enjoyed this show last September. It was just magnificent. Mindblowing!! So sad this tragedy occured. When you see the bonding between Dawn and the Whale, it had to be an accident.
ci dispiace per la ragazza. ma come tutti sanno chi lavora con gli animali gli incidenti possono succedere. anche a me è successo. speriamo vivamente per l'orca che non la uccidino.

Captivity severely compromises their quality of life to
an unacceptable degree, through confinement in minuscule tanks. Such confinement is
often characterised by forced associations, sensory deprivation and adverse intrusion by
visitors. Marine parks can no longer justify their captivity under the false premise of
education, conservation and research. Today's society is sophisticated enough to
recognise these facilities as aquatic circuses. Jerye Mooney-WDCS
