• pew pew pew. my msn messenger id is in my profile! msg me if u want! 3

  • hot 19/F here. home alone with webcam and I like cybersex. check out my profile and msg me on MSN!! H

  • GO EDWARDS GO!!!!!!

  • Edwards is the ONLY candidate NOT taking a dime from lobbyists and PACs!!!!

  • In terms of him being a "disappointment"

Ahem... Patient's bill of rights... sponsoring or co sponsoring over 200 bills, indirectly influencing policy decisions through his legal work, and drafting some legislation on things MOST people know nothing about... I would say is far from a disappointment.

  • Look at his website and policy book before you go calling him too idealistic, and look at some of his legal victories, before you go calling him too soft. Your opinion is your opinion, but I'm just saying, look at the source, before you decide...

  • TIMEKILL21, u r wrong. He's one of us - ordinary Americans, he understands us all and speaks from his heart. If you, people are still hesitant about who you are going to vote, look who attacks Edwards: Ann FUCKING Coulter, Bill Halloweencrip O'Reilly, Hannity and Colmes....8 years they had IT their way and look what happened. Our kid of 19-25 y.o. are dying in Iraq, in those fucking sands, for what, for who? For all those Hannity-Colmes-O'Reilly fuckers.

  • Are you people serious? Edwards is far from genuine. He's an unctuous smooth talking weasel. I'm a political reporter in training and have watched every debate, ad, and media appearance of this guy. Look beyond his words. He's not a new kind of politician. He's the same kind of played out fake that have been in politics since ancient Greece. His attacks are trivial and specious.

  • John Edwards is framing the debate by putting his plans in writing on his website. No vague promises, real concrete solutions to everything from Iraq to global warming.

  • LOOKING TO THE FUTURE-JOHN EDWARDS!!

  • I hope Al Gore decides to run.

But if he doesn't run, John Edwards could end up being my choice for President, even though my aunt does not trust him.

  • "...and we all know what NEEDS to be done." -Eric Cartman, on killing jews. Am I the only one creeped out when politicians start talking about "solutions". btw, when you hear a politician say "what can we do" you must translate it into "what can the government, thru bludgeoning and stealing from a specific group of citizens, do".

  • John Edwards has a clear, thoughtout plan for the future of America. GO JOHN!

  • John Edwards for President!!...

  • Hey, at least he did not mention his dead son.

    Thats a start Breck Girl.

    PS

Stop making your wife fight your battles.

  • Yuck. Edwards doesn't go around mentioning their son, Coulter mocked their son's passing and that's part of the reason Elizabeth confronted her. Your comment is repulsive, when did it become acceptable in America to mock people's loved ones who passed?

  • How many times have you heard him mention his dead son, or do you just believe everything that you hear from reich-wing filth like MAnn Coulter.

  • The Breck Girl thing is old. Didn't your mom tell you the shortest jokes are the best? Maybe you don't respect a woman telling you...It makes you look desperate bringing an old,old joke back.

  • Something is happening here, and I like it. We are getting some attention, and we are achieving our money needs. And, of course John Edwards message is as strong as ever.

  • John Edwards is about as low as you get politically. Ann Coulter was right on when she said:

"John Edwards' incredibly creepy habit of invoking his son's tragic death to advance his political career -- a practice so repellant, it even made John Kerry queasy."

  • HmmViper and Mars, name says it all.

New Edwards news,Edwards is first candidate to declare suport on Transparency voting-Open Voting Consortium.Great ,no,viper?

Which candidate and why are you supporting ? You would be the first to answer most Edwards attackers never answer back!

  • Dear 95476, It's none of your business who I'm supporting. As a liberal, I'm sure not being in control is a real killer to you. Liberals hate what they can't control. That's why liberals are so unpopular. They hate freedom and free speech unless it's their own freedom and their own free speech. Everyone else must be silenced. Well, you will not silence me with your liberal hate speech. Free at last, free at last, thank God almighty, I'm free at last.

  • such a drama queen....

of course it's none of my business.I don't care about control.you didn'tpay attention to what I said: You would be the first to respond to me,no Edwards attacker has ever, ever told me who they support. The answer:probably no one.You just rant.and act like drama queens...

Pleas quote "my hate speech", because I can't find it.

  • ... with eight time loser writing a book called "No excuses" (that should have been called "All the excuses that fit the print") as her source ... Ann Coulter just cherry picks the stories that fits her agenda. She only cares about the shock value.

  • Anyone wanting change has got to feel the positive vibe coming from John Edwards and his team. I voted for him in 04 and can't wait to do it (this time successfully!!!) in 08. Go, Johnny, Go!

  • Yes I feel it VERY strongly with Edwards. The more I learn ,the more I support.

    Keep talking about him

  • That's the thing. The more you learn, the more you learn that most of what the media are saying about him is A LIE. But some LAZY-MINDED PEOPLE who refuse to learn anything are willing to believe anything, and THOSE FOOLS are the problem with this country. It's why Bush could get away with everything, and why people always learn their lessons "TOO LATE." Now we are in Iraq, because 70% of the country believes everything upfront.

  • The Clinton 'mean' Smear campaign has started! They're smearing Edwards and Obama.

Google the phrase "CLINTON'S PUSHY POLLSTERS" and read the story on newsdaydotcom.

  • Elizabeth is married to a homosexual living in the largest house in her state. The Edwards wealthy lifestyle was created from the money her husband steals from suing doctors, who then raise your cost to go to hospitals.

  • Look,if John was a homosexual he would be voting for same-sex marriage, so you really don't know what you are talking about.

Is it against the law to live in a big house? Is it bad? Be informed from in depth reading not surface Fox News talk back.

  • Yes character is everything. Let's think for a moment if Bush had character....

    Vote John Edwards

  • (cont.) Hope is great, but I prefer a candidate with a concrete platform to go along with the glittering generalities. And Edwards has the eloquence to go along with the substance, which is what makes this ad great. He has the policy mastery of a Chris Dodd along with the oratorical skill of a Bobby Kennedy. And as for Clinton, her campaign resembles Tom Dewey's in '48 more and more every day--she's playing it too safe, and I think that's eventually going to come back to haunt her.

  • (cont.)Obama sharing the fact that he's served less than a full term in the U.S. Senate, in contrast with Edwards' lengthy record as an advocate for working class people wronged by the powerful in North Carolina, hardly counts as "substance." And while I can appreciate Obama's speaking style, he's built his entire campaign around rather hollow platitudes. He's the one, after all, who said "We've had plans before, Democrats; what we need is hope."

  • "Substance?" What campaign are you following? Edwards was the first candidate to put forward a substantive national health care plan, and remains the only candidate with a substantive plan on exactly what policies he would pursue to fight poverty. The same is true for providing federal funding to ensure two years of higher education for all high school graduates.

  • This ad is a joke.

Where is the substance? Typical Edwards "everything is a mess and I am the best one to fix it, RAH! RAH! RAH!" song and dance, with some moving scenes thrown in. No substance at all.

I am no way a Hillary or Obama supporter/fan, but at least their ads have some substance to them; especially Obama's talking about his time in office. Of course, all Edwards has is his failed attempt as our senator. Edwards is/was an embarrassment to North Carolina.

  • You must not have noticed... THE COUNTRY IS IN A MESS!!!and yes he is the man to help with the issues.

  • The country is in a mess-agreed. Disagree JRE is the one to help fix it. He did nothing as a senator for NC. Why should I believe he will be any different as pres? He has a gift for talking, but, lacks on delivering and follow up. Just ask us in North Carolina.

  • Ok.When you look at his clear policies, his bold actions against the Iraq War,and his conviction to not only return this country to what it should be but also unify the world, you much see a change in the Senator that use to represent you? People don't choose to run for President with an ill wife,as ill as Elizabeth. They both love this country.I am sorry he was not the best Senator at the time. I think,if what you say is true, then John has changed. Please vote for him.

  • Clear policies? You must have seen something I haven't. Policies I have seen speak more to what is wrong and how he is the one to fix them with his conviction, tireless efforts, yadda, yadda. Most of his solutions are government programs that are going to tax us to death.

What bold actions against the war? Keep sending the spending bill back until Bush approves? Make a mockery of Memorial Day? It was bold to make those statements; that's about all.

  • He can't unify his own state - most of NC can't stand the guy. How will he unify the country? Especially he if taxes us back to the days of the robber barons? Have you not read what all these programs are going to cost? I appreciate your candor and remarks. You are very kind. But, no thanks. I will NEVER vote for Edwards. I see no change at all - he is still the slick talking con-artist he's always been.

  • Really, I have a man on my Edwards support chapter who is from NC and he supports him for all he has done... I'm a bit confused...You know some things cost up front some cost you from behind. I personally would like to see it in my face than sneak up on me(you're not being 'taxed' on the Iraq War but do you think it's free)?

    Who will you be supporting?

  • John Edwards all the way!!! Go to his Web site for all poliecy info!! Then make up you mind! I think you'll find what you are looking for!

  • John Allthe way!

Keep up the good work Phyllisfiredwards-name says it all!!!Wear your Edwards pin every day!

  • Yes that's what I mean. Who do you support if not Edwards?

  • Oh, so much of your income is over $200K that rolling back Bush's tax cuts to fund Universal Health Care is "taxing you to death" ... and you made that money all on your own, with no support from any public infrastructure whatsoever. You are likely to be in a minority of one, there.

  • Where is the substance?

Man, that is funny ... the candidate with more, more detailed plans on Iraq, Energy Independence, Poverty, Universal Health Care, College for Everyone, and the list goes on. Just listing the policies wouldn't fit into a thirty second ad.

  • Want substance? Go to his website and read the detailed plans you fool. It's pretty difficult to put a whole lot of "SUBSTANCE" in a 30-second tv ad.

  • And in addition ... this is obviously the lead ad in a series ... and as the lead ad, "being patriotic about something other than war" is what ties together the combined policy on Energy Independence and global warming, Universal Health Care, and restoring America's moral authority to lead in the world.

  • Actually he is from SC... and in terms of substance... it's there... but you also have to, you know... read his policies and do a bit of research... (which is also there, on his website)

And not base your decision completely on ads which can be changed based on "what people want to hear"

  • Great line at the end. "Patriotic About Something Other Than War."

  • He's a fighter for good!

  • quality

  • I like the slogan "time for the president to ask us to be patriotic about something other than war"

  • it's purty

  • Will we make America the country of the 21st century? That depends on all of us. It's not that we don't know what needs to be done -- to lift families out of poverty to strengthen the middle class in this country. We know what needs to be done. The strength in America is not just in the Oval Office, the strength of America is in this room right now -- it's the American people. And it's time for the President of the United States to ask Americans to be patriotic about something other than war.

  • a time for change

    a time to care

    a time to act

    America, your time is now

  • That's the Johnny Sunshine we all know and love.

A call to patriotism -- to care about something more than just ourselves and our families -- that's what America is looking for in this time of crisis, in the period after 9-11 and Katrina.

  • Very well done.

  • John Edwards is the people's candidate. Don't let the mainstream media fool you this time!

  • Astrogirl, from now on ,we are the media and we MUST be the media. Thanks for your comments!

  • let's get Elizabeth Edwards in an ad testifying to John's commitment and dedication and faithfulness to her. and how he'll always advocate for the american people.
