If you want good chili in the seattle area, then go to slims last chance. Mikes "chili" sucks. Slims is the best chili I've had outside of New Mexico.

You haven't lived until you've had the chili over the top of eggs! I started eating that chili back in the early 80's. Nothing has changed and that's what I like about it.

Sorry to be a fly in the face, but I've been to Mike's 3 times now, and tonight, I finally had a "bowl" of chili. First, the bowl is a whole lot closer to a cup than a bowl. Next, I thought it was vegetarian chil (and very watery at that) until I "discovered" a little beef near the bottom of my "bowl".

I'm not a winer, in fact I tend to be the "everything is good" guy, but if the bowl of water I got tonight is any example of the "chili" out of this place, go elsewhere.
