  • Aram Khachatrian is an Armenain composer who was born in Tbilisi(Georgia) but he is Armenian!!! Armenian!!!

  • This was composed in 1941, just before the Nazis invaded Russia.

  • Lively and dramatic!

  • greetings from Tallinn! KOTIK, THANK YOU!

  • This music was written when most people to went work on a tram, a bicycle or a horse. What an awful shame this great waltz is cut so short and loses all of its atmoshere and subtle nuances and timings. I challenge the conductor to dance at this tempo with a partner. Where is the impetous? Where does the music rise and fall and ebb and flow and return renewed? This conductor is best suited to sequencing and producing soul less electronic synthesizer music. bob. teacher engineer & musician.

  • Muy rápido, debe ser más pausado.

  • Спасибо, Котик!

  • Well played, but conducted far to fast

  • min 2:25 trompa

    min 2:28 flauta.

  • What's the rush??

  • ¡¡¡GREATFULL!!! NOBODY LIKE RUSSIAN MUSICI FOR ARAM.

    ¡¡¡BRAVO!!!

  • @DRIVERONEVERDI he is not Russian and he often uses folk music which is not russian as well

  • The best!

  • Way too fast.

  • Obra maestra suprema!!

  • acaso alguien podría describir con palabras lo que significa esta melodia? indescriptible... pobre de aquel que ose en hacerlo....

  • despues de 15 años la escucho de nuevo y siento la misma sensación... casi muero de la impresión.... gracias...

  • I love this so much!! I can picture a bunch of ballerinas with masks dancing to this.

  • My computer likes to randomly play this song.

  • similar to the trędowata waltz watch?v=PDU3O4ZloZo

  • It is nice to hear this waltz being played at the tempo of an Viennese waltz. My dance partner and I have been dancing to it for the last couple of weeks and really enjoy it!

In my opinion Maestro Orbelian has captured the spirit of this wonderful piece.

  • It's like they used to say about Antal Dorati's recordings of Tchaikovsky's ballets: The tempo would leave the dancers on stage in the dust! Neeme Jarvi does the same thing with the Glazunov ballets.

I agree with the other posts here, it almost makes you nervous to hear the music at this rushed tempo. No room for the music to breathe!

    Pass.

  • Beautiful , but why so fast? makes me nervous, looks like they are in rush , Armenians escaping turkish criminals genocid..
