  • I want one!

  • This looks like a lot of fun. I think I have a new hobby interest =)

  • very cool! now all you need is a remote control jet ranger helicopter to chase it!

  • Thanks also was this the monster truck body?

  • @obxkid12 Yes, they did a 70 Cuda in the same proportions. Do note that I cut and stretched the TL01 chassis to match the wheelbase of these bodies better...they are quite long.

  • How did you manage to get the charger body without the slot for the engine/blower

  • How did you manage to get the charger without the slot for the engine/blower

  • @obxkid12 The body comes with a 'plug' piece to fit the hole in the hood. It's located in one of the fender wells that you must cut out. :)

  • Allow me to take one step higher with this video: Go hire some r/c helicopter flyer and have you and him do a reenactment of the Charger/heli chase through a model grove (especially around that intersection where the rotor blades nearly hit the pavement)...

  • Nice! I like the old effect :D

  • thats an incredible car...looks and power...

  • Great job man!!! Looks great! Where is that body from? Not a Tamiya body right? Is it from a lesser quality RC?

    Awesome job man

    -34

  • @buggymike34 It's from HPI, #7184

  • Nice im lookng for a 69 Charger body for my Tamiya TT-01 but cant find one :(

  • @LegoTech53 Do a search for "HPI Charger Body". It's about $25.

  • Just don't crash your rc into a train like in the movie

  • Nice. Charger looks awesome!

  • Charger looks great. You should make more of them and sell them on ebay.

  • all you need now is a big-ass O scale train set and.........

  • Did I see teeny weeny figures of Larry,Deke and Mary in there?

  • No, but the idea did cross my mind... :)

  • love the body! what turn motor have you got on it? i got a 21-turn in mine (TL-01) mustang body shell!

  • Wow man nice vid, love the scene in the end looks quite realistic how the front jumps up.

Excellent job on the body, I have a similair tl01b but don't have a body for it.

Looks pretty torquey and a bit squirrely cause you can't seem to drive it in a straight line :P

    All in all GREat job!

  • I haven't really determined that, and the speed mods have been confined to just a 'sport tuned' black can. My intent was really to just make a fun, 1970s-musclecar, with performance to match, so its RWD, long and high, so its a bit sloppy with lots of wheelspin, sway, etc. I do figure its top speed is a bit higher than a stock AWD TL01, but can't say its by very much.

  • Nice dude=D how fast does it go?
