  • His FIRST appearance is epic and before this.... Indeed one of the best scens in the movie. To think it was cut out some tv-versions....

  • I love the ending where the barman resumes as if nothing had happened. (Such a shame Part 1 was deleted...)

  • Watch out for those false notes!

  • Jason Robards excellent scene!

  • Am looking for the whole mowie harmonica ,not only short yuotube episodes, does anyone know where i can get the whole movie?

  • @AJE1962 Its called "Once upon a time in the west" Not harmonica... but this post is a month old so you probably found it already lol, did you like it? =)

  • love how Harmonica and Cheyenne get along immediately

  • henry fonda stole my heart mmmmmm

  • YOU...you don't know how to play.

  • Why does everyone say Henry Fonda steals the show in this movie alone?

Jason Robards does it, too. Both of them are as good as the other one.

    R.I.P. Robards and Fonda!

  • YOU!

    tsc tsc tsc

You dont know how to play!

  • bronsons smile always cracks me up haha

  • Jason Robards has the best american accent ever :)

What is it anyway? Brooklyn? Boston?

  • I really hate to nit pick on my all time favorite western. The only real goof I noticed was that Charles Bronson didn't "see three of these dusters...."

In the opening scene Woody Strode isn't wearing one.

Aside from that very small detail, I think this is the greatest Western ever made.

  • Bravo!

  • That's Max from Heart to Heart

  • wie heißt der film dazu?

  • One of my favorite scenes in the movie... and Cheyenne is my favorite character.

  • Well, you know music and you can count...all the way up to 2.

  • Thanks for this classic video

  • @sovernacq You're Welcome !

  • Thanks for this classic video

  • Lol, loves how mr harmonica teases Cheyenne xD

  • 5:08 is the greatest quote in any film ever!

  • @Joyfulcheese Without a doubt!!

  • The best western ever!

  • cheyenn is fuckin charismatic

  • "quiet simple country life"--yeah right.

  • Braaaaavo.

  • @spectre0075 I don't agree, I think Inglorious Basterds was a great movie in its own right, and Kill Bill was fun. Inglorious Basterds doesn't have the Leone style anywhere that I recall, Kill Bill does.

  • @spectre0075 never heard that Inglorious Basterds was supposed to honor Leone, you might be thinking of Kill Bill.

  • @samsam29 The very first scene was meant to invoke the opening of this film in that very ponderous way, but according to Wikipedia anyway, reflects Lee Van Cleef's entry in the third Dollars movie more so

  • @HeroOfCanton99 the very first scene of which movie, Inglorious Basterds or Kill Bill?

Kill Bill did take from Death Rides a Horse

  • @samsam29 Inglorious Basterds, though I don't really remember the first scene, cept that it was long, and probably the most interesting part, save the bar sequence

  • @HeroOfCanton99 the first sequence of Inglorious Basterds was Hans Landa and his Nazi croonies looking for jews at the French guy's house. Certainly one of the best sequences of the movie, though it never made me think of OUaTitW. Long setup like this one, but besides that, not really the same.

  • @samsam29 You're probably right - it's been awhile since I've seen it. Maybe I just want more movies to pay homage to Once Upon a Time in the West, though it didn't exactly work out in Pirates of the Caribbean 3's favor...

  • Dam, the best bit was deleted.

  • A classic of cinema. Movie making at it's finest.

Robards, Bronson, Fonda.......and the ever so lovely Ms. Cardinale!

  • Awesome! One of my own favorite scenes in this whole movie including the McBain Massicure and I was wondering if you might post that epic scene for us? :)

  • WOOOW what`s with the quality... that`s been made ,remade and hundred times more remade... nice ^^ :)

  • you! you don't know how to play

  • Bravo.

  • The way Charles Bronson says "Hey" is bad ass.

  • Believe it or not, they actually cut this scene out of the original US release.

  • I fell in love with Claudia Cardinale.

  • Great scene from a classic film. To me the best western ever made!!

  • "inside the men where three bullets.." classic!

  • In my opinion Cheyenne is the best acting character in cinematography

  • wheres part 1??!!

  • @kangerooZZ part1 was deleted by youtube doe to paramount pictures rights on this picture... they said :(

  • Greatest western ever!!

  • I think this is the most hardcore scene in movie history. The score, the lightning, the acting... Every single line and every little gesture is just *oozing* with badass attitude, tension and suspense. I love it!

  • "Inside the men there were three bullets." One of the greatest lines of movie history.

  • I Cheyenne purtroppo non esistono!

  • my fav scene of the movie also but why 2parts =/

  • was over 10 min.

  • This (including part 1) is definitely the best scene in the entire movie. Not one of the actors ever bettered their performance in this movie, and, to be honest, most of the credit goes to Sergio Leone the director and Ennio Morricone the composer.

  • yes i agree totally.....when i first saw the scene when Cheyenne threw that olive lamp to harmoncia and the music played i didint even know what happened to me....a unique experiance....best scene and Sergio was the best director in the world. I see today many directors (like Quentin) try to be like Leone but it is still NOT ENOUGH...not like Unce upon a time in the west or Good bad, ugly...

  • @pazZzurro Quentin is a big joke and i never cared for ANY of his movies. I dont like his movie style at all. I know alot of people like that kind of bullshit. They just cant make movies like this anymore! The 60s throughout the 80s were the best, now everything is based on CGI and no story. This is what movies should be!

  • @nicknasty14 I agree. People say they like Tarantino's movies but I can bet most of them dont even understand his movies. They just take it as a fact that he is sooo good. Example: when we asked why people like Pulp Fiction they said "Cause ther's so much action in that movie"....while there is almost no action in that movie! He has a tendecy to make garbage but then again a lot of people like movies of today :| total downfall. But i liked the 80's and 90's. Many classy films made then :)

  • @pazZzurro haha, no kidding. yea, im a big fan of 80s movies. growing up in the 80s, i really feel lucky to have lived through that era. from the music, to television, to movies! great times indeed. i still put the original mad max, escape from NY, empire strikes back and road warrior as my top 4 movies from the 80s. there was just too damn many classic movies at that time. joysticks, hot moves, fast times, cant buy me love etc. list goes on and on.

  • @nicknasty14 Hmm well then Im not as lucky...I was growing up more in the 90's but those were good times too. Yeah I get what you mean. The evolution of cinema from like MTV to classic movies and TV. And yes I too love the movies you mentioned. Especially Mad Max and of course Snake Pliscen :D he is one of my favorite characters. I alwys think they should make one last movie with him. Just as Stallone did Rocky and Rambo for the last time!

    Good times good times ;)

  • @pazZzurro haha, yea me and a few of my friends out here are huge plissken fans. always quoting that movie all the time. donald pleasance and the duke mainly. as horror films go during the 80s, they focused more on fear and anticipation rather than films nowadays, that focus more on blood and gore. that to me isnt horror and only should play a part. zob zombie butchered the new halloween movies. i am a big halloween fan, mainly 1 & 2 were my favorites. too many good movies back then.

  • @nicknasty14 Im not a horror movie fan but sometimes I like to see a horror movie. Of course I usually watch some of the old classics cause of the things that are happening in modern cinema. Horrors were based on a good plot, mystery and characters etc and now the plot is so basic it hurts your brain. Blood and slaughter everywhere. I think this started mainly after the succes of Texan massacre though that movie actually had a plot and was a kick above today's junk.

-I heard you were dead Snake

  • Jason Robards at his best
