@Ehtasham10 the minute u get ur iphone jailbreak the only way it would work its on edge, if u switch it to 3g or 4g what ever, the phone would be with no service switch it back to edge and starts working again.

Yeah that would be considered a heavy data usage, you can go for it. But I say you don't use your iPhone for that. Use it for simple web surfing or some youtube videos, uploading photos, stuff like that but don't try going on skype or video chat for example.

I have Tzones 5.99 plan for my iphone 3g unlock would using internet tethering cause my bill to go? i was able to get it to work just a bit iffy if I am going to get a big bill for data.

If you use it as a Modem, you might (meaning your using the connection 24/7)

if you use it to connect to facebook a couple times, check some news articles here and there, No...just be careful on your useage

You have a iPhone 2G or 3G

as of right now I do not know a way to get tethering on the 2G.

But as for the 3G, there's a different method, kind of similar but different, than for this one

Ok I'm sorry but I just tried the tethering option and saw that i couldnt connect either mine did the same thing.

I guess MMS doesnt work you can only have one at a time, You can email me for further info, hopefully I can start looking for a way to have both connected at the same time, sorry for the confusion
