Guys... Enzo has never played for a U-Nationalteam yet. No France or Spain etc. Ok he is talented but thats it. If you want to be a World Player, you need more than just talent. I´m afraid that the publicity will smash him down and sooner or later we will never hear something about him again. Do you know who Stefan Beckenbauer was? No! But of course I still hope that one day he will play against Messi at El Clásico :-)

I don't think you know what you're talking about. No one bothers to study the phenotypes of soccer players because it's not worth the publication print. However  Zidane's facial features are well within the range of average for the Algerian population. In other words, he can look exactly as he does without being genetically European. In fact, his phenotype North African Berber, not Gaelic French, and absent any supporting proof for his being French, it is likely he is not.

2. wrong, you're being miss leaded by the nose, Mediterranean Caucasians can also have a prominent nose, plus the skin color and the eyes ( Typical North African ppl simply don't match those features)are yet a proof of Zidane's origin, and even that you're missing the point, the point is that he's French, like it or not, not him or his football have anything to do with algeria.

I'm not being misled by his nose; that is only part of what makes him Berber. Even though Zidane's might not fit the Algerian norm exactly, but he still fits. Besides the prominent nose and light skin colour, characteristics that Berbers as well as Europeans can possess, Zidane has brown eyes and descends from a poor Kabyle Berber family, indicating that opportunities for white Gaelic admixture in his family tree would be limited.
