Actually as far a life earth is probably crappy. A lot of earth is desert, ice, tundra. I reckon the only reason we have life is the earths size. In a. Snowball earth geothermal heat eventually ends it. Earth is really on the edge of the habital zone

There is a small problem with double the pressure of earth. A light breeze there will have more energy thunderstorms would uproot and flatten a forest like the one in the video. I reckon trees would be short and squatty

You mean the weight of the air? I don't think so; humans can cope with triple or quadruple atmospheric pressure for extended periods without ill effects. If anything, denser atmospheres would encourage larger size, as they would be able to support much larger weight.
