Barton was exactly right. i disagree that the govt. should have subsidized the coupons. If a person wants to watch the garbage on tv..They should buy their own converter out of their own pocket. Watching TV is a privilege if you can afford a TV set. Not a right! Do the satellite or cable companies issue coupons?

I'm a liberal, and I'll say that the delay would be a dumb idea. Most people have digital TV and don't need converters. And TV is not a right! If anything it would do the dummies a favor to force them to have to fix the TV. They might even go out and buy one on credit and get the economy a boost.
