Very intimidating. Just goes to show you that space is literally the top of the line when it comes to fear with the power and violence it contains. They did a good job with this ride as "Ghost Galaxy" it was the best ride ever!!!!!!!!

This is pretty amazing. Basically it's interpreting how their Ghost Galaxy ghost "B.O.B." is trapped within the mountain and trying to escape.

0:20 - BOB attempts to break out of the mountain.

2:25 - It looks like BOB is giving off negative energy on the mountain.

4:40 - If you look carefully there are some bumps and then BOB starts to dent the mountain in attempt to get out.

9:15 - BOB this time breaks mountain. Hence the crack at 9:30. Demolished at 9:48. Then repaired 9:52.

yeah the night i went on this was pretty cool..all the sounds coming out of it was getting me more excited to ride the Halloween themed Space Mountain because i never rode it during holiday events so i didn't know what to expect in the ride.

there was a few sequences in the lightshow. there was the lightning part, the pushout part 4:55, the slashes the ghost makes, the mountain breaks 9:30 at one point and the tron grid appears over it, the blue tron grid surrounding the mountain like at :09 with the rippling punches at :28, the ghost heating to the mtn to fire 2:32 and various points

Dude, did you seriously just use Ellen's Energy Adventure as an argument for why WDW is better than Disneyland? That's hilarious! You can keep Ellen and the 1982 dinosaurs Presented By No Corporation, and we'll be just fine with kick butt stuff like Ghost Galaxy, a 16 minute long Pirates of the Caribbean, and a few dozen other attractions that are better. Say hi to Ellen for us!

Right... Because the length of one attraction determines which resort is better.

Disneyland certainly is better than Magic Kingdom. But Disney World as a whole, is infinitely better. It's nearly the same size as San Fransisco.

Besides... we have Expedition Everest :]

most of DL's ride and ideas go to WDW in the end. The only difference is the size of the parks. By really, locals have a better time getting into a 500 acre park than a 20000 acre park...

I HIGHLY recommend getting a fast pass for space mountain AS SOON AS you enter the park. With this being a seasonal ride it is packed (120 minutes) and has been "temporarily closed" especially nearing the weekends. Out of the 3 times I've tried to go an ride it I've only been successful once! Luckily I am an annual pass owner so I have many chances; I feel sorry for folks that want to go but can't get in.

@152431702235 we waited 2 1/2 hours, and then it broke down just before we went on it. It then had a wait time to repair for another 30mins...Fast pass for every ride possible after that :P

WRONG! I got a chance to ride both the wdw space mt and dland space mt.....b4 they even did this dlands space mt into ghost galaxy it just made wdw space mt look pitiful! Now just recently i went on ghost galaxy and it was worth a 90 min wait! it was one of the most creative things dland has ever done!n made space mt 10 times better! kinda scary for disney tho...

I waited 3 hours, opening. On opening day. The mountain occupied us, I love the effects they put on it.

We hopped on right during the fireworks show so we only had to wait about 40 minutes total the second day it was open. I recommend for anyone that hasn't gone on this to go before the end of the month :)

ooh that what we were trying to do but by the time we got there the firework was already half way though so the wait was at 100min. and the effects on the mountain got annoying watching it for 3 cycles +

That is is so cool. i've been there when i was 17 and went on the ride for space mountain. Going on that ride was a thriller. O.O
