This is true. As in comparison to the edge ("straight edge")scene as well.

I am not at all against being edge or what entails; however, I feel as if people have taken the sense of relativity from it. Edge is, to put into simple terms, living your life pure, and by doing so, you don't consume (in any fashion) toxins of any sort. My biggest problem is, people who are edge (in the "edge scene" which is a travesty. Like punk and hardcore, it's become more of a fashion, rather than a way of life)
