  • Toyota/Lexius = best car manufacture

    +

    Yamaha= best motorcyles manufacture

    = LFA

  • daddy wants 1

  • 2:35 wait he was driving when he was 8?!

  • Some say i rather buy this and that over lfa...have you driven both? No... So shut your pie hole!!!

  • just make it 150k. lexus would have so many more bitches

  • The funny thing is even at the + $400k prise for a new LFA Toyota breaks even on ever sale.

  • Can somebody please turbo one of these... Pretty please : )

  • Badass commercial.

  • 'We went from four thousand to nine thousand RPM, and in the process of doing that, I wet myself."

  • At the end of the day, it's just a LEXUS.

The AUDI R8 V10 is better.

  • @VOLKSN8R wrong, at the end of the at the heart of the lfa is a toyota

  • Video is in 3D???????

  • @Blushikami correct. put those 3D glasses on

  • @Autofanatic28 the ones from the movie theatres don't work :c

  • @Blushikami LOL. actual powered 3D glasses

  • well that's great but its not the same champagne glass on the braking scenes 3:25 3.27 3:29, just look close to the side of the glass next to the speaker, on 3:27 there is a big sharp piece not broken.... blablabla....

  • All that crap just to break a few wine glasses...

    Well done.

  • Complete waste of time, money, manpower and equipment.

  • How lame!!.... it wasnt even the car that broke the glass, but an AMPLIFIED playback of the car.

  • Why Would I Buy a 400,000 dollars Lexus?. Still a Toyota! I would rather get a Porche GT2 than that

  • Break the glass at 2:00 but the GTR breaks LFAs.

  • Comment removed

  • Its probably quite hard for Lexus to drop the price of the LFA because they arent making any profit when they sell it because all the desing work, building costs and the parts are just so well done that they cost to Lexus that 400,000$

  • One of the best sounding cars of all time. Hands down.

  • lets advertise something that cost $400,000

  • wow thats a very fancy way of gloating how nice there car is

  • Toyota/Lexus and Yamaha.. I like that..

Remind me of the old school 2000gt

  • @jdm0055 exactly! i'm glad you know the relations before

  • @Autofanatic28 didnt yamaha do the engine in the corolla xrs too, the 1.8?

  • @fuuhcoff yes, that's true. Toyota commissioned Yamaha to design the 2ZZ-GE based on Toyota's ZZ block

  • @jdm0055 Even the 4A-GE head was developed by Yamaha, lol :P

  • @jdm0055 kinda like the 7th gen celica as well, which had an engine tuned by yamaha, revving till 8400..

  • 1:15 - WHOA! WHOA, WHOA! Did she just say 9000 RPM?! :O

  • i think my honda civic can do that with its fat cannon. true story.

  • "wet your finger and rub it around the rim"

  • @caseycharle321 Uh....that's what she said?

  • @TheRacingProductions precisely. lol

  • Lol at the "options shown" footer. Really? You have OPTIONAL extras on a car that starts over $400k?

  • @mustangman442002: Did you end up getting any options on your LFA?

  • @mozaks80 Nah. Maisto didn't offer any when I got it from Target. It looks great on my bookshelf though!

  • @mustangman442002: Haha... :)

  • I'd like to take one like this for a spin.

  • And all it took was 375 thousand dollars.

  • I love american cars V8s Ford and Chevrolet and there are some imports and exotics i like also but the Lexus LFA is THE MOST perfected car that has been made in this existence of earth the Pure sound of the exhaust tuned to perfection the Calm but sleek looks would i turn down american muscle for this car? Umm yeah I would big time this car is my #1 thing i want to own in my life thank you Lexus thank you

  • Is that a gay racing driver? And why are we so impressed it can break glass when the sound is magnified..... We would be more impressed if thay did less shit like this and it didnt cost 400,000$....

  • Drop the price of this to 65 thousand and Lexus will have the best selling car in the history of the world.

  • @kreamo225 Really 65 Thousand? I agree this cars price tag is rediclous but 65k would be a joke. I think at $100k this would be a winner.

  • @kreamo225 Not saying it's better, but at that price I would rather have a Super Snake.

  • @kreamo225 And lose money with every sale.

  • @kreamo225

well you are fucking dumb, they are losing money selling this car for 400k, Just fyi do some research.

  • @kreamo225

Except it costs them like 300k+ to make one.

  • @kreamo225 and would make no profit!

  • @kreamo225 Lexus won't even exist because they'd be flat broke by then.

  • @kreamo225 Im sure the carbon fiber in raw form is 65k lol

  • @kreamo225...I agree! Or as long as they lowered it to $90,000 to compete with Nissan's GTR, that would be great!

  • @venom21x The LFA is not a mass production car like the GT-R is. There are many reasons to justify the 400K price tag other than the performance specs.

  • @kreamo225 a fucking men

  • @kreamo225 While I totally agree it's overpriced, Lexus still loses money on every one sold. It's more like an expensive engineering showcase than a car.

They should make it out of aluminum, keep the engine and make it in greater volume and shoot for the 100k price range.

  • @kreamo225 I would sell my organs for an LFA

  • @kreamo225 even at 100-1300k range.I sure wouldn't choose a ZR1 over this.

  • @ 1:10, why would you be covering your ears man?! its a sound of beauty.

  • wow they get paid to do useless stuff like this?

  • Comment removed

  • I was just about to make a point that this "test" is useless and invalid in its entirety, because they used a speaker, not the exhaust of the LFA to break the glass..

    but someone already mentioned it.

  • @57sean57 You can't put a glass behind any exhaust because there's already the force of the exhaust gas flow present. So hence the speaker is needed.

  • white is the sickest color ever.

  • @pnetwork12 no rasizm in here, please:))

  • So from balancing 15 wine glasses on a LS 400 @ 140mph to shattering wine glasses win LFA's

  • ........Ily<3

  • what the fuck breaking glass break speed records or some shit

  • COOL....BUT USELESS!!!!

  • well to prove what ? that the car is powerful ? well . . The 2012 GTR35 with less noise did swallow it in one bite !!!

    U mad ?

  • @3yar1983 Its not proving that it can beat other cars but that the Lexus LFA can compete well beyond the supercar expectations but in a new ingenuitive way. The LFA is a supercar wonder, yes it is not able to beat a buggati or other supecar but by showing the new ingenious ways of creating a supercar by factoring in physics, aerodynamics, different materials and such instead of putting an engine that does 100% of the work. The LFA puts a new meaning to supercars and IS in deed a supercar wonder

  • @3yar1983 Hopefully you can comprehend what i typed

  • @3yar1983 That's white a pair of turbos. Anyone can turbo a car, so your argument is invalid.

  • The car is awesome, but they used a speaker to break the glass, not the SPL of the exhaust. lame.

  • but will it blend though?

  • Amazing. I would do unspeakable sinful things to get this car

  • lol find the perfect bitch

  • @SparkyShotgun her name is lfa and she breaks champagne glasses

  • @madsciontist85 Sounds like a bitch the way you describe. and btw i love the lfa, nothing against it.

  • If i had this car i would be goin around breaking everyones wine glasses!

  • Great professional commercial and kinda funny how they're using a $400,000 luxury sport car to break glasses just to prove a point

  • Mazel tov. But seriously though... this could have been achieved far cheaper

  • just you with that freakn car and poor glass then test begin, simple right!!!

  • 1:10 Look at the guy sitting, WHY WOULD YOU NOT WANNA HEAR THE FULL SOUND OF THIS CAR!

  • Skyline sorry to say there's a other

  • I did wonder how big white rooms are created...

  • what's the main of the main purpose of this experiment? to prove that LFA can break a glass too?? that's...quite...weird! Xb

  • @Az0ngl33 to show how finely tuned the exhaust noise is. The Yamaha music department tuned the engine, the ad says atleast.

  • Awesome

  • hah . . i bet Porsche has broken more glasses out of frustration of GTR

  • @srsairbags Nope.

  • @Brad211 Yes

  • What's more amazing is that people can do that with their voices.

  • don't break the car windows!

  • A Honda civic cannot do the same thing. It doesn't put out the exhaust pitch this car does. And I would know I have one that revs to 10k.

  • Lets hope it's not using any know-how from the Toyota F1 team otherwise it'll be rubbish.

  • Cool commercial. But I bet a honda civic could do the same thing.

  • I've heard from numerous places that Lexus doesn't make any money by selling the LFA.

    ...

I'm curious as to how much it costs to make a commercial like this one.

  • try with your ears

  • that engine.. DROOL.. thats baby makin music right there

  • What is he racing at 8 years old?

  • @atomicfart3514 go kart

  • Chevy ZR1 and GTR fans never "get" this commercial

  • Just outta curiosity...If the Pitchs from Reving the Car-Lexus LFA, is what broke the glass, why is there a microphone and speaker...,

anyone can make that speaker amplify the actual sound or change the pitch(if the speaker doesnt change the sound, then why use it at all??*and if ur saying pressure from exhaust..can u not seal the glass from that, so just the sound gets to it??)

just a thought but...with that point of view,

    Nice Speaker!

  • @joeyleggz lol agreed.

  • I wonder who r the 5 Dislikes r from .. Maybe (Ferrari, Lambo, Audi, Pagani & Bugatti )

  • 4.1 mpg :P

  • Thank you for uploading(:

  • What's the point of having "the perfect pitch" if the car isn't that good. i'm not saying the lfa isn't a great car, but stick a turbo in there and you have yourself a better car. i mean ken block's fiesta sounds ugly but it can beat this car around the track any day, and it costs so much less.

  • @abdulios Yes any upgrade(turbo, supcharger..), will give you more horsepower which you may think is better.. Which in most cases it is, for that brief period...But the question is, how reliable is your machine when performing like that? Will it last months, years? Will you have to clean the engine after every run? every week? Basically what does your upgrade change for the car...mechanically wise, not performance..cause any car can get 1000+hp and go fast...thats easy, Reliable-thats a standard

  • @MrBhop59 That's actually a valid point. If you do have a turbocharger in there and you use low grade oil, you can find metal shavings in your combustion chambers. But then again who in their right mind would use non synthetic oil in a car like that? Royal Purple all the way :)

  • What does gas mileage even matter for this car? If you can afford a car like this, chances are.. Gas prices don't really phase you.

  • just put it close to a Ferrari FXX, i mean my ears broke so i think the glass will too :)

  • excellent commercial and one of the best sound of a exhaust car i love the sound of the la ferrari 458italia but this car have and extraordinary exhaust sistem thanks for uploading this video

  • 4.1 MPG? Yep, that's a new "definition of an anutomobile" alright! ;)

  • Oh, Lord. Look at the MPG at 3:22. If I had that car then I would end up depleting the world's supply of oil because I wouldn't stop driving this beautiful machine.

  • lol extension of a driver

  • The next model of LF-A would produce the brown note, so i would not only wet my pants but shit into them; Freaking bad-ass noise

  • That was an intelligent commercial! Well Done.

  • @luckyceltic69 ya it makes more sense than those garbage beer commercials lol those make no sense at all

  • @luckyceltic69 the world is full of unnecessary objectives now

  • LFA is the shit i love that car

  • Bien ese Marketing

  • Simply amazing...the creator of this commercial...awesome...

  • yea i wish i had LFA!!!! sick car

  • @kizlar4eva ya, exept its $400,000 lots of zero's.. can buy a house, or like 3 maserati grantourismos. or a ferarri,

  • Does the glass touch the metal speaker?

  • @chiropra1 no it doesn't.

  • @Autofanatic28 It does touch the speaker... look closely at 2:36 - 2:36...pause it and tell me it doesnt touch right when it breaks.

  • @Bapesta916 yeah it touches the speaker because its vibrating from the sound waves

  • @AmazingSuperStar1 Exactly.. It was set a (small distance) apart. Frequency and motion created it to touch...

  • no

  • @chiropra1 You clearly see it vibrates and it hits the metal- wow, how scientific! Glass hitting metal and it breaks, call the experts, don't know how this happened!

  • OK....Now put the Glass rite BEHIND the Exahust.....Then thats power, not through a speaker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jimmye6669

The exhaust gas blow away the glass. That's why it has to be done through a speaker bro.

  • Some Chick:"OH WOW! Dude that's a nice car and its a Lexus! How much is it?" ME:"About $400,000". Some Chick:"What are you going to do with a $400,000 Lexus?" ME:"Smoke a cuban and I'm going to get plastered with a cheap bottle of wine then i'm going to use the car to break the glass when I'm done!"

  • @strongme80 LOL why not if your rich ofcourse you can do that :P

  • @strongme80 lmao

  • How did they break that glass with the car in the Lexus commercial?

  • @Torgersw by the car's exhaust note. certain frequency that the car makes which in turn breaks the wine glass depending on the frequency that the wine glass can not longer handle. This vid explains it very well.

  • Comment removed

  • @Autofanatic28 Its called the Resonant Frequency.

  • @Autofanatic28 If its the cars exhaust note that breaks the glass at a certain pitch/frequency...what is the point of the speaker? (if its producing the same exact sound as the car, it would be unecessary to use.., but it must alter the sound somehow, either amplifying the sounds volume or changing the pitch)

  • @OnlyBHOP It is more likely they simply used the speaker to concentrate the sound or perhaps to remove any other variables such as the fluid motion of the exhaust gases (assuming they were to put it directly behind the exhaust) and focus more on the pure frequency of the engine.

  • @kabodkhwaamkhid i could understand pressure from the exhaust and etc but isnt there a way to set the glass in some kind of container to prevent that, while just allowing sound waves thru? that is essentially what were going for right? not to add more variables such as speakers, the wiring between the such...whos to even say that speaker is 100% accurate with that sound aswell?

  • @Autofanatic28 you would think so....

  • @Torgersw ddnt u watch the vid.....
