  • Glasses off.

  • I seem to want to kiss you wherever you have perfume!

  • look at the size of that quality street tin....not like that now but the price has trippled

  • @nahpop1 Bigger tin yes ..but still only got 3 green triangles....or was that roses ???

  • @PROTEK123 No quality streets were the one's, we use to have endless fights in our house over the triangles, good times lol =)

  • @nahpop1 I LOVE those triangles...so does my wife.

  • I remember watching this and fighting over the ONE bloody pair of specs.

  • I seem to want to kiss you wherever you have your perfume

  • @tellyisgood lol haha

  • i've got hinge and bracket's autographs!

  • OMG, "Fort Ti" in 3-D!! I watched that at the time with my freebie 3-D glass obtained from Rumbelows. The anticipation of that movie was amazing, in reality I was really disappointed at how boring it was and ended up with a splitting headache.

  • Campari tastes like cat vomit ! Dont ask how i know. AVOID !!

  • Tim Brooke-Taylor and Joanna Lumley doing the Campari voice over.

  • That was ace, thanks for putting that up :) x

  • Hinge and Bracket, Dr Evadne Hinge AKA Patrick Fyffe was born on 23 January 1942 and died on 11 May 2002.

  • Absolutely correct except it was Dame Hilda Bracket.

  • Haven't seen Hinge & Bracket for years

  • Brilliant!

  • fabulous.

  • Those ads look quite sophisticated...for 1982. I recall when they had a brief 3D season on tele. It didn't seem to do well.

  • Wow...didnt realise he did that..Have you seen MR LONELY - Adapting the novel by Eric Morecambe copy and paste it into the search on youtube! It's excellent! :0)

  • Love that Thames break bumper! It's amazing to see how Quality Street looked when I wasn't born yet. Hate them Emva ads. They are obviously men in drag (nothing wrong with that of course). Don't know who Hinge and Bracket are by the way!

  • That's not a Thames breabumper - Thames didn't have any breakbumpers until 1989! That's the LWT breakbumper used from the 1970s to 1983!

  • Oh yeah that's right! Doh! Forgot it was LWT. Thanks mate

  • Hing and Bracket....you have never heard of them??? They are legends!! Funniest double act ever.

  • No sorry, never heard of them. They must have passed me by!

  • Imagine if any viewers thought the Quality Street or Atari ads were 3D - firstly being hit by sweets, then attacked by Space Invaders :)

Joanna Lumley is the voice on the Campari Soda ad, no sight nor sound of Lorraine Chase.

  • Note also the TVS font on the "Glasses Off" and "Glasses On" captions, because of course it was they who made The Real World ... and, really, those Atari ads were a sign that Morecambe and Wise were *very* much on the slide.

  • One day out - it's Sunday 5th December 1982.
