  • @DLiberator78.read my previous comment below this one.this would be very relevant to you being an amiga owner and starting out with protracker.i was part of the amiga demoscene so message me if you need help with protracker.its my speciality:-)

  • DLiberator78.best way to get files from pc to amiga is to get a ready setup compact flash a1200 or a600 card hardDRive(about 30 quid)from ebay with 2400 games and demos.it also enables u to use the pcmcia slot on the amiga.so u will need a pcmcia to compact flash adapter(99p from ebay and another cf card(about a tenner)make sure its sandisk for compatability.take the card from your amiga pop it in your pc,drag and drop the mods, demos etc,put it back in your amiga and job done.it takes minutes.t

  • Some great tracks here in a jungle stylee. Tracks 2 & 4 were my favourite of this batch. How did you get the samples. DId you record them on the pc and transfer them to your Amiga? I have Protracker, OctaMed and SoundTracker Pro on my Amiga and would like to get into music making. Would you be able to post a few tutorials to get me started or suggest a place where there are tutorials? Great work on the tracks.

  • @DLiberator78 Thanks for commenting.

I downloaded the tracks from dascene 'dot' net and played under WinUAE emulation. I created a folder for the tracks and loaded it into WinUAE as a hard drive. After this Protracker was able to find the mods. Tracker was run from a floppy image, There are lot's of tutorials for WinUAE and guys at Recorded Amiga Games IRC channel can help with emulator related stuff.

I have not tried to copy MODs from PC to my Amiga.

  • @einokeino303 Thanks for the tips and advice I really appreciate it. I usually transfer files from my PC to my Amiga 1200 via a serial cable and Amiga Explorer. Thanks for the heads up on the RAG IRC Channel I check out it out and seek some guidance.

  • @einokeino303 You can put mods onto a compact flash then use PCMCIA on amiga and they work fine! Just copy stright over no messing!
