  • It just makes more sense to follow hadith because those people were closer to the prophets time then us! (Authentic Hadith)

  • muslim should follow only the quran not hadith nor madhab

  • MUSLIM should follow the quran and sunnah...read

  • where can i download the whole version of this lecture....

  • Its funny coming from people who pik up an read. And KNo it's not just stidyng six years he's been at the feet of Syrian, Yemen ulema and has received ijaza. Chains going all the way bak to the prophet sumting ur scholars don't have! Can't sum1 excel in deen in a young age? Ibn hajar was 33 an was among the authorities in Hadith. Shafi was 14 and was giving fatwas! Please leave ur narrow minded views out of this.

  • The problem is there is iktilaaf in matters and these schools kept them in the bound for 1400 years with few exceptions. U could follow any of the 4 ur a Muslim no problem for the majority of time. But in this dat an age these schools r being pushed aside layman reading sahih sitta deriving rules then calling others deviants becuz they don't believe it's a mercy rather they believe its a curse

  • 6 years in a darul uloom does not make you a sheikh! just repeating memorising whats writting in your books of fiqh which is given more priority over the books of hadith. Go see the real the scholars of Islam, and the decades they spend learning.

Shaykul Islam ibn Taymiyyah rahimahullah and others centuries ago rejecting taqleed of 1 imam, its not NEW like some people are trying to attribute to recent scholars! The only difference is the dawah is stronger now then before alhamdulillah.

  • @yaschaudhry Who says spending 6 years at a darul uloom makes you a Shaykh? And your guess of what you THINK is done there is laughable, i would suggest learning more. Ibn Taymiyya was a great hanbali scholar, he had his own opinions in certain matters, but he was at such a stage where he was able to. Are you telling me, a crack dealer can say if Ibn taymiyya did it, i can do it? Off course not, again it comes down to being qualified.

  • Brilliant shaykh!

I shook hands with him recently.

  • We don't interpret or take rulings ourselves from Quran and sunnah

What we do is go to a mujtahid for rulings in fiqh etc like sheikh salih al munnajjid

If anyone one finds stronger opinion in any rulings from a particular faqih which is closest to Quran and sunnah he has to adopt it.

And not abandon the sunnah for his own madhab

  • @MrAlmuazzin - but the same logic and reasoning - the great Imams were closer to the time of Prophet Muhammad and The Suhaba Ikram - so logically they simply knew more.

So it is better to follow their set rules - whenever possible as it is likely to be true. No one knew more Ahadith then Imam Abu Hanfiah after the Suhabah - and he was of a great intellect.

  • @pixelrow cont.. And after quoting the ayah in the noble quran where it is stated thast Muhammed saw will 1 day die, then Umar ra calmed down & accepted the fact. Likewise all four Major Imams said they were infallable n could be mistaken on some points so if there was clear evidence from the quran n sunnah then go with that. I for example would not b able 2 do rafadan in salaah if i followed only the hanafy madhab, I am against teh fatwa shoping people do however u can't blindly follow 1 madhb

  • @pixelrow Salaam Brother Allah swt didn't create us all identical, There was a difference in Umar r.a & Abu Bakr's personality and this was highlighted after the death of Muhammed saw. Upon hearing th enews Umar R.A threatened to chop off any1s head if they dared to say Muhummed saw had died. However After Abu bakr R.A elequently said "Whom so ever Worshipped Muhammed saw then let him know that Muhammed Saw is Mortal Whom so ever Worships Allah swt Know that Allah swt is Eternal/immortal"

  • @honestknight1 - It is passing away of Prophet Muhaamad (Peace Be Upon Him) from the worldly life - have some respect of the man we consider the greatest human.

  • @honestknight1 - there is not anything left of Ibadaats that as unknown to them - there was no one on earth that was better placed to convey the knowldge and hve the ability of Imam Abu Hanifah. Imam Abu Hanifah DID look at all the evidence and rejected - rafa yadein.

You do not blindly follow a madhab - you learn its principles and you apply them to all new matters that arise. YouTube comments are very limiting for such a discussion - but not EVERYONE has the capacity...

  • @honestknight1 - to learn Ususl Fiqh - etc. You do end up following someone. Plus all new matters are resolved according ot their principles. And this is much better than some sheikh of today doing what he feels like.

There have been millions of Scientist but only one Isaac Newton - that level of ability is exceptional - that is why there is only one Imam Azam - who knew more Ahadith, Fiqh than anyone. Imam Shafi - used to hold view his teacher Imam Malik knew more of Hadith - simply not true.

  • @honestknight1 - following A madhab is not a requirement under Shraih - its more due to logical and necessity.

It is better to place trust in the honourable Elders than people of today. This whitewashing of Imams that Ahl e hadith do is simply and totally wrong.

  • @honestknight1 - Your spelling is bad. Yes - they could be infalliable. But they were less likely to be then as time goes on. The time closest to the Prophet Muhaad is the more blessed. That is obvious.

Second thing - mistakes of a Mujtahid do not pass on to the followers. You place your trust and move on. Plus you follow their "principles" - and principles of Hanfia are water tight.

Usul al-Fiqh - a very useful study. You start by saying why you reject hanafi on Rafa yadein.

  • @MrAlmuazzin assalamo alaikum my deer brother what your saying makes sence but only for some one who has the knowledge to judge between ahadith, example your telling me a if a person just reacently becomes muslim he is going to judge between ahadith. no. becouse he doesnt even have the basic knowledge on the principles of hadith

i hope allah makes it clear for you as he did for me, i was a ghair muqallid until i uder stood

i hope what i said didnt hurt your feelings wassalam
