love newfies, they're so gentle. they playin, newfies are so mouthy when they play...must be the rescue instinct. eh they sort each other out and the alpha will ignore the other dog if it gets too much or have a growl...dogs arent stupid they know if they're going too far. plus its a newfie..never heard of an agressive newfie...mastiff or pit bull is different.

The owner of this dog is the Punk. He clearly doesn't understand dog behavior. Dogs play fight all the time. It's an affectionate group activity. If they don't like a dog. They won't play fight. One day, if allowed to continue. The dog will rip the other dog for real. If this stupid owner allows that to happen. May his hand get in the middle of it.

what is it with Newfies and trying to led other dogs where they want them to go?? My Addy will try this with her buddy Maggie, grab the collar to pull her one way or the other ... as a puppy she would grab the leash and try to walk herself ... what IS that?? Think I can get her to take a line in the water? Heck no! maybe I should try some leash/collar webbing
