  • @hoppey13 Anything will catch a pickerels attention, they like spinnerbaits, I like to use the Hogy Rubber worms, just do a search on youtube for hogy lures. I usually use a bright color like pink, also.

Why on earth would you want to lip a pickerel??????

  • This is The Largest Species Of Pickerel In My Lake and I wanted to show the size, I have on special gloves so that the teeth do not cut my fingers off. This was a catch and release fish also.

  • @nj4x4fever2

It's no doubt an impressive Pickerel. I'm happy to hear that it was released. I do a lot of Pickerel fishing in South Jersey too and the largest I've caught was 23 inches from the shore. I'd like to get into a boat and get to the backs of some of these lakes I fish a lot.

  • Because I have an Iron Thumb, original thumb lost from other pickerel biting it off.

  • i don't lip a pickerel with those sharp teeth

  • That is pretty much what I am doing tomorrow.

  • laytons lake in south jersey has huge pickerel.

  • is this batsto?

  • These photos are taken in Whitesbogs Village and Brendan Byrne Forest aka Lebanon State Forest
