this song is about an old man lying on his death bed looking back at his life. he is about 10 to 15 minutes away from dying and he knows it. the memories are flowing thick heavy and hard. he was a rock star in his life, part of something as big as metallica, and has travelled the world a million times over and had a rich and full life. he can hear the cheers of the fans as if it is happening right now, he can feel their love. he remembering his life in full, the good and the bad.

I can't stand Robert "The Monkey" Trujilo, even he's said to be able to play so well. Actually withInfectious Grooves he did play well, but he's not made to play Metal in fact and on stage with Metallica nobody likes him and he is left apart like an asshole. ok if i may interject a hardened metal fan's opinion here...Joey is definately a mind-blowing drummer; mean if you listen to just his parts of any given song you will hear fills and blast beats that are, to be honest, immaculate. However, I believe Lars is incredible too; his work on AJFA is among the best in metal history; his beats are awesome and incredibly complicated. I believe Lars plays better music, because lets be real here Metallica is the best all-around metal band out there.

However the Gods that came before like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath are just as good at their own formats of metal. and there are plenty of others old and new too.

These S&M version of Metallica's songs are by far their best however they are not an accurate portrayal of just them as they do have a backing orchestra there lol.

I wouldn't say Lars is incredible. I think he's a good drummer, and some of the rhythms are clever, but most of his playing is very rudimentary, and to be honest, very one dimensional. This is coming from both a Metallica fan and a Music Major.
