  • Hey there! your pretty good you need to work on your timming your quite far out, cross LOADDS more, turn out moree ;') only trying to help so ont be offended x

  • timing is a litttle off, turn out, and cross more, but good sound just exaggerate everything much more

  • your timing needs some work.......your going a little too fast but its very noticable! Apart from that nice footwork and love how original it is!

  • halelujah! tank u so much,i was completely blanking out a teeny piece near the end of the set-i just could not remember it! but thanks to u i remember now! yay:) every other video i cheaked was different from mine but you saved the day! thank u:)

  • I know you added this video a long time ago, but my suggestion would be to get your cuts (whips, or whatever you call them by you) all the way up to your hip and try to hit your opposite hand (ex: left foot, right hand). And make sure your back foot stays turned out.

  • Your rocks are lovely! You are just a bit slow during the end of the step on each foot, but your rhythm is great!!

  • Okay, a correction: Turn the volume of the music a bit down, your hops aren't audible at all. :( ;o)

  • pull youur trouserss down !! gs mahnn !

  • OK, this IS the traditional Garden of Daisies. This set dance has a serious amount of variations, even though it is traditional... Some people do a whole different set which doesn't even resemble this. Our set is almost the same, though the step is very different

  • your off time... by like a fraction of a second

  • I keep coming back to this video. I really love your cross over and rocks at the set part. That may very well be my favorite part of the dance to watch. I want so much to learn this particular set.

  • finally, someone who does the same version as me! traditional all the way!

  • lift up your feet higher

  • nice steps! my teacher would tell you "turn out"!!! ;-)

  • very good though not the traditional dance. As some one has stated hit your bum more as that will make it look better as it looks good but can look alot better well dome though

  • that's... ok. Not the traditional Garden of Daisies though =/

  • it is the traditional

  • More turnout and bring your feet up to your butt more...once I started doing that I won everytime in this dance....got 12th at the Oireachtas last year!!!

  • I love the arch in your foot when you point. Very pretty and hard to see in hard shoes. Nice.

  • Lovely dancing. You cant beat the Garden of Daises it is great/

  • wow, that's a bit different from mine. good timing! uhm... I think a little more turn out would make this amazing. :]

  • buenisimo!!

  • Hi, I think your rhythms are perfect, but you have to be wilder in your dance. Be yourself when you are dancing! it's a very fun dance to do!

  • I don't like the traditional version much :\

    Even so, nicely danced. =]

  • when people push thier toe down before they point at the beginning drives me nuts. The judge probably will think you can't point on your own!

  • I love watching this video because my dance school also does garden of daisies and the set part is completely different!! I like seeing the little variations in a dance that is know throughout the world!

  • TOES lol on your toes and crossed feet and pointed cuts! but other good rythym

  • ok lets see..

you need to turn your feet out, and cross just a little bit more. Make sure when you do cuts, they go up to your feet and the foot you are cutting up with is POINTED!

  • cuts all the way up to your hip!

  • I luv Garden of Daisies. I never learned this set, but it is very interesting to watch. I think you dance this set very well. Do you know other traditional sets you might post on Youtube? I would be interested in watching those, too.

  • uhh nice job try to work on your turn out and be a little more loud... i dont know if it was the floor you were on but the beats sounded kind of muffled, and also work on the crosskey there... but otherwise nice

  • your legs are crossed, but you still need to turn out your feet. Your crosskey needs to be perfected

  • Hey carolientje! Stefan hiero! Wat grappig zo'n video van jezelf! :)

  • heeey Stefan! En? Nog tips? :-D Ik ben al hard aan het werk voor de oireachtas en hoop toch wel een betere versie van deze te kunnen uploaden... Heb jij ook videootjes van jezelf op youtube staan?

  • Nog tips? Hehehehe jij wordt weer mijn concurrente he! Ik ben weer back to competitions namelijk. Kga als t goed is naar jullie feis en doe mee aan de Oir. Dus....ja ik heb een tip.......blijf oefenen :-p

  • great rhythem! and wonderful rocks!

  • very nice. lovly rocks

  • I agree that you could start focusing on getting some great turnout happening. It seems to me that you've got the steps down well, so you can really start putting some sound into it as well.

Keep up the good work! And don't forget that turnout!

  • Ok here's my opinion. You need to work on your turnouts and it seems like your holding back. Let it all out, dance with confidence. Overall, I think you did a very good job! Keep up the good work! I hope this helps.

  • hey im trying to teach myself this set, could u post the steps for the first step possibly? Thanks!
