@RESTRICTORPLATE48 Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoy my videos. Unfortunately I've since uninstalled ProStreet from my PC and don't intend to play it any time soon as I'm doing most of my racing on NFS:Shift 2. I am however in the process of recording new videos from that game but sadly, Infineon Raceway isn't on the tracklist. Sorry. :\
@lancevance12 Tuned and designed from scratch. Decals and parts (Stage 4) are all available in game. Just takes a little creativity with the vinyls/decals to create the overall effect. Built time is about 3 hours in total. :)
how did u made your evo had those lvl3 and lvl4 levels? i mean the bars.. i have the same car but my bars are a little bit shorter than yours andit has prtty much every performance pack
The game has stage 4 parts in them already. I think you can unlock them on PS3 with a cheat code: "unlockallthings". Unfortunately, if you've updated the game, the cheat codes are disabled. The only way to get it back is by erasing the update, but if you saved the game with the update, your profile (all saved cars) will no longer work without the update.
i have v1.40 or something like that.. so i dont think it will work.. and talkin about the tune thing.. i have it all to stiff and it has a rly good feedback.. what im asking is how well does your car behave with those settings
It handles like I want it to. Which is about 2/3 close of to how a real car feels, the other 1/3 penalty is due to ProStreets actual not-so-realistic physics. :)
I guess it also depends on the car and controller you're using. I use a steering wheel with force feedback so I can feel when the back of the car steps out and when the wheels lose traction over bumps and do my corrections ever so slightly with my brakes and gas.
I used to set everything to STIFF and my car kept spinning out in corners. If it went over one bump too many, or even a hilly bend (watch my Ebisu GP race), the car would lift off the ground and fly to whichever direction it was originally heading.
In frustration, I reset the suspension setting back to defaults and slowly stiffened it a step at a time and discovered this (shown in video) to be an ideal set up for me.
i agree with the bump part.. seems like in further races ima need to soft it so it wont get totaled :D thanks for the info, you should rly make a video with the different settings in a bumpy track and a normal track like ginza and the desert with different settings
i have another question, how does it work with that cutsom tune u did? i have all to stiff so it wont lose in grip.. but u dont have it to max.. how does it work?
The stiffer the suspension the more grip you have, that's true to a point. However, when you go over bumps like chicanes/uneven road at high speeds, your car will bounce and you'd lose all control of it.
As for roll bars, the stiffer it is, the sharper the response you'll get when you turn in, however, you'd likely lose grip suddenly while turning in and drive on straight; snap understeer.
It's hard to explain this without practical examples. Maybe I'll record a video explaining this sometime.
NICE

Hey ColinPoh can u give me sum suggestions for Tuning the Evo X for Ebisu and Mondello? Btw does widebody affect the handling?? pls respond asap thnx
TheAudiTTfan 2 years ago
I generally just lower the Final Transmission and Start Boost for tighter tracks. Yes, wide body kits add better handling.

My performance packs are all Stage 4. I used an unlocker patch for the PC to get them.

but you know when you have stiffer suspension the less reaction you got to corners and its harder for the car to change direction
