I agree with what this video explains. If we compete for something we are simply saying there is a limited amount of something and we must get to it before it is all gone. Right the oposite of the idea that there is plenty for everyone.

I love this idea. I will always remember the great things it brings when applying it. But it does make me wonder why the idea of competition is still instilled in peoples minds? Is the media that prevents people to think in this fashion. Or is it probably people in high status who wish to prevent an affluent and prosperous world? Why would the media do such a thing? Or am I just implying nonsense. Anyway It does make you wonder.

Hi intelligence4576. I have wondered about this too. My hunch is it's about control: If you can keep people competing with each other and afraid, you can control them (ex: the rat race).

When ppl are NOT in the competitive, fear-based mindset, you can't sell them unnecessary products, ideologies, wars.

Some very powerful ppl "think" it's in their best interest to keep us competitive and fearful. Happily, their old methods of indoctrination aren't working as well as they used to ;-)

I actually just realized that this has been my problem, competition.

Ive studied the LOA many times but have never read or seen something about competition.

I have wondered why the LOA hasnt worked the way i'd prefered, but the only reason it hasn't worked is because i am being competitive.

Hi Aja, I had the same problem for many years. I really had to start "tuning out" a lot of the media (like the News) and the dominate culture in society in order to sustain this point of view. I began to notice, whenever I felt bad, I was usually competing with some one or some thing. Peace, Jon
