I'm glad he cut the Dr. Satan scene. When you watch Rejects AS IS, you can either assume Dr. Satan was all a hallucination in the first movie, or you can assume he just died before the events of Rejects. Either of those made me feel better than really knowing he was about to be in Rejects, without them taking the time to re-explore his laboratory or explain the underground lair. Corpses and Rejects are just two way different movies, I don't really think Rejects was the right world for Dr. Satan.

There are I couple of things I would change in this movie. I wouldn't let Dr. Satan die at the beginning and I would make a much longer scene where the Sheriff, maybe with the help of some other religious fanatical exorcist wanna-be, slowly tortures the entire firefly family in the name of the almighty God, including Satan Dr. and eventually burns them alive. The end was too glorifying for those sons of a bitch. They didn't deserve that.
