But please someone tell me how much these trains could go for because I literally have a collection of all the origional trains and I feel the tub I have of them is worth more than what I think it is.

  • @TheCondog96 The Thomas at 0:30 and the brown van at 2:00 have gone on eBay for a couple hundred bucks. I've seen a brown van go for three-hundred bucks once!

  • you have alot of flat maget trains o.O

  • k i just was wondering will you need voice actors(if you start one)

  • YAY!

  • will you make a series

  • @MrTrainlover01 A series? I was thinking of making a stop motion one, but that was last year. I'm caught up in some other stuff now, so if I do make a series, you'd have to wait a few months or possibly a year.

  • One word - fantastic!

  • @PineTreeJunction Thank you.

  • Hi! I saw that you are missing Douglas tender. Since I have one, are you interested to buy it ? It is new.

  • There are Duncan (his wheels are susposed to say 1998), Percy and Annie.

  • @asaloverboy7:

Nice. The Percy on the left in my video is from 1997. The one on the right is from 2000.

  • I have 3 1997 models.

  • Awesome video and awesome song with it. Rush FTW!

  • Thanks.

  • The old ones are high quality. In the mid-2000s, some toys were found with lead, but just the red characters.

Besides, the only way for the lead trains to have an effect on you were if you put them in your mouth many times. Lead only affects you if you're exposed to it for long periods of time.

  • I have a LOT of the same ones in this video that you have. Are they really considered "rare" now?

  • You can't get them in stores anymore (a lot of them, like the brown van) so the only places to get them now would be garage sales, flea markets or auctions (like eBay).

To me they're rare because they are hard toys to find in terms of being so great.

  • Hmm...So I'm curious: how much would one go for on eBay?

  • It's usually gone up to about 70 bucks GUC, and in box, over 100. I got mine for 40, but the prices tend to fluxuate.

  • Shoot, mine are all out-of-box

  • i've still got all the original wooden loco from my younger days and still in original paint to

and it a good thing you put this video up as I was about to bin them all

  • Nice. Good thing you didn't throw them out. (;

  • Wow you have the original rusty!

  • how about the ertl ones? the die casts?

  • I'm having a major De Ja Vu. Oh wait, you asked me this question before! XD

The die-cast engines go for a little less, but still, you may be surprised at how much they might actually go for.

  • lol sorry ^^" but ive got some of the diecasts like the old thomas, annie clarabel, like 4 sodor mail coaches, percy, james, all them. and for wodden guys, ive got all the old ones plus like a trashbag filled witht he old style klikty klack track.

  • Nice!

  • yeah since that went out years ago i figured i could get a good amout for it oh yeah! i also have the kilty klack rouindhoue for the thomas engines :]

  • I have the roundhouse too. (;

  • god i remember the movie. when they made all those new ones, like the gold strip of track. good times.

  • LOL

  • hey if i possible gathered up all of my odl thomas stuff and sent you a private vid, would you tell me an average worth of what ive got?

  • Sure.

  • thanks :] much appreciated. i just wanna see what ive gotten over the years XD

  • Probably some really rare stuff.

  • $_$ sounds good to Ed..

  • btw the car at 2:02. how much would that be worht?

  • @00gundamreviews:

A lot actually. Over $50.00 for sure.

  • man i was born in 94" man. and ive got liek all of those old ones. and all the diecast ertl ones that have gotta be worth a fortune now.

  • I like how you put Rush in the background

  • Thanks.

  • Jesus H. Christ! Some of those are incredibly rare like your four wheel Mavis!

  • Thank you. XD

  • Great Collection! Can't wait for your wooden railway stopmotion!

  • Thank you.

  • hurry up and finish your TOMY series. i wanna see the final movie and so does everyone else.

  • Wow Andrew... d:

  • Can you please make more videos like this one.

  • I'm making a stop motion Wooden series. (;

  • Wow. Henry must have been in quite an accident!

  • Comment removed

  • wow, this video is pulling some comments and views

  • Thanks.

  • what happened to Gordon?

  • He lost his face. It was the 1994 one too.

My friend has a 1994 Gordon as well, so I'll probably buy it or borrow it from him.

  • oh, dear

  • @springofpiesucks i dont think he has a rare gordon.

  • @MTwillman he told me he had the '94 Gordon without a face

  • i saw a nib black wheel terence on ebay for $250 or maybe more i dont know

  • the black wheel terence and the troublesome brakevan are the rarest tight??

  • Probably.

  • HENRY!!!!!!! HE IS HURT AT 0:43 :O

  • alright, i'm sorry if i'm being a real pain in the ass with the questions but what years are Duck, Donald, Douglas, Oliver and the Flying Scotsman from? plus do you still have the original boxes to these? if you did that would be really cool! also do you have the gray-face troublesome truck, Ada, Jane, Mabel or the Knapford Express Coach?

  • Duck, Donald and Douglas are all from 1994, and Flying Scotsman is from 1999. I don't have any of the boxes, or the items you listed, but my friend has a Knapford coach. ;)

  • na not rare, i have some lol, but better quality

  • To a lot of people, including me, these are pretty rare. And they don't just go on eBay for a lot of money, but these toys are really popular, especially the old ones.

I don't know what you mean about better quality. If you mean the video, I accidently uploaded this in low quality, when my digital camera actually takes high quality pictures. If you mean the trains, please bear with the fact that I've had 'em since I was very little. Also, I'm planning on fixing them.

  • just a question: what years are Bertie, Harold, Rusty (the one on the right), the Chinese Dragon, the Breakdown crane, Annie, Clarabel and the tankers from?

  • Bertie is from 1994 and so is Annie and the Chinese dragon. Clarabel is from 1996, Harold is from 1993 (he has a staple on the bottom of him) and Rusty, the breakdown crane and the tankers are all from 1995.

  • thanks. interesting

  • oh, what year is the Percy on the left from?

  • 1997. ;)

  • cool. did u get him in the Percy Takes The Plunge Story Set?

  • Nope. Even though I saw that set everywhere, in yearbooks and toy stores, I never got it.

  • @springofpiesucks I think the Rusty is 1994, but I'm not sure about the rest. The Harold looks REALLY old!

  • Do you mind if I call my video the same as this and post it as a video response in return, Robert =)

  • Sure, I guess so.

  • you like rush too nice my favourite song is Tom Sawyer whats yours

  • Mine's Subdivisions. ;)

  • RobertMProductions, do you mind if I post a video response to this and/or can I make you as a wooden train? You can post this video to mine as a response if you want.

  • Of course you can post this as a video response. Thanks for running it by me. ;D

  • This might sound dumb because it's probably not but, is that a prototype Thomas at the beginning?

  • Not a dumb question at all. ;)

It's the 1993 Thomas. It's the first edition of him. He's very hard to find because he was only released for one year. If you find one on eBay, I strongly suggest you bid on it. =)

  • On eBay, one of the original designers at Learning Curve is selling some of the oldest trains. They're unopened, mint condition, and expensive. He's listing almost every old item. Most of them are the 4th or 5th production models. (They're prototypes, but they are sold in stores)

  • I saw some of those, like the Black wheeled Terence unopened. They're hundreds of dollars though. Unless he sells 'em for cheaper, no one will buy them. On eBay anyway.

  • i just recently went on eBay, and those guys lowered the prices, like a lot. but strangely as of now the 1992 Edward, Gordon and Henry are $395!!

  • Ya. There original Thomas is 65 bucks! Before it was about 105 bucks! It's sad cause only the real enthusiasts can get there hands on them. Although if it is the real enthusiasts, it will probably last a long time!

  • after watching this video, the song got stuck in my head but i love it. then all of a sudden i started singing it and my brother was like WTH! you're singing Rush!

  • Really? LOL XD

  • no don't change it I love it

  • nice music btw

  • Thanks, but I might change it. It gets a bit annoying after a while. XD

  • 75% of those are either flat magnets and/or wooden funnels!

  • you are very lucky to have those rare and valuble wooden trains. btw i saw a 1992 james and gordon (not nib) for more than $100!!!! then theres 1992 terence, diesel, annie and clarabel for more than $50! (and those aren't nib either!!)

  • Thanks. =)

You see, the Wooden Railway trains are selling on eBay for a lot of money. =D

  • ill give you $1000 dollars for all of your models. cash.

  • Very funny Andrew...

  • Holy cow! Brown roof Troublesome Brakevan in great condition! Pre-production Rusty! Four wheeled Mavis! And practically everything else! Do you have the original Sir Topham Hatt's car? (yellow)

  • Thanks! =D

I don't have Sir Topham Hatt's car, but my friend did. =)

  • In my opinion, the riginal Sir Topham Hatt's car is the rarest Train. (not including pre-production) The Troublesome Brakevan is, I think, the second rarest!

P.S. How do you get the iTunes advertisement in the video?

  • I'm going to look out for that one when checking garage sales.

When you put a song in your video, which can be recognized by iTunes, they automatically put an ad in your video. =)

  • Okay, Thanks!

And good luck finding the Sir Topham Hatt's car!

  • i perslee like the brand brio

  • The BRIO brand of Thomas? They never sold those were I live. The Thomas BRIO engines were only sold in the UK and Europe, and maybe Australia. I live in Canada.

  • ok thats i live down under

  • Thank GOD I STILL HAVE ALL THE ORIGINAL WOODENS!! THEY ARE BECOMING SO VALUABLE!

  • Yes they are. They don't make them like they use to. =)

    Keep hold of them! =D

  • you got that right! btw those Tobys you have look weird

  • They are the first editions. =)

They were changed in 1994 or 1995. In 1993, they looked like the ones I have.

  • i know that

  • Modern Tobys look weird. I like the face on yours better.

And I definitely prefer your 1995 Rusty to the current model.

    Cool trains you got.

I never got any before 1999, but I never got anything after they trashed the clickety-clack track, either.

  • Thanks, and nice.

  • i have every single one of the old trains. and a ton of the track. the old one with grooves. asllo there all like in perfect condition. ive also got all of the old die-cast metal ones. how much do you think ive gt in total?

  • You have the Wooden Railway and ERTL trains. I have the old ERTL (die-cast engines) too.

They don't make them anymore, so they are becoming valuable. Hold on to them. =)

  • I still have some of those do you think they are worth anything?

  • Yep. On eBay, some of these sell for hundreds of dollars! =D

  • wow thats amazing!

  • I know you'll find this crazy, and I did too, but the same Brown truck at 2:00 once sold on eBay, in the box, for $490.00!! I'm not joking!! XD

  • lol, looks like you loved your trains to death as a kid XD

  • LOL

Some of them are quite beat up but at least I can repair them. XD

  • The engines that had lead paint were only some of the newer versions, made about two years ago. Mine, the ones in this video, do not contain lead paint. Because HiT, the company that owns Thomas now, is so cheap, they had the wooden trains made in China, but were not careful on how they were made. Lead, can only affect people by either being ingested (child putting toy in mouth) or long term exposure. I know for a fact none of my trains contain lead. Besides, only a few actual trains had it.

  • Jesus, you put my collection to shame. XD

What did you do to Henry?! D= XD

And you have the four wheeled Mavis? Sweet! =D

Hope to see more from you! =3

  • I'm sorry. XD

Henry, well, he's been "played with". He probably was dropped on the floor when I was younger, by accident of course. =P

Thanks! More videos coming soon. =)

  • Heh. X)

It looked like you shaved Henry. XDDD

    Welcome. =D

  • Oh LOL nah my trains are just very old. XD

  • poor herny

  • Yes, Henry has seen better days. Bu
