The best moment in my opinon was during Wresltemania VII when they were reunited in the ring, Elizabeth holds the ropes open for Randy as she always did before. Randy shooes her away from the ropes and opens the ropes for her, to roaring applause. If there were any dry eyes in the house before that, there were none thereafter.
That was some excellent writing. The Savage/Warrior match at WMVII was awesome, and the pre/post storylines were awesome. And if you remember the whole Macho/Elizabeth angle, she would NEVER show aggression to anyone despite heels trying to hurt her. When she "attacked" Sherri Martel that night, that was a much of a suprise as the "reunion" between Elizabeth and Savage.

Yeah, it was nice and all, but to me Macho Man was always more fun playing the abusive boyfriend angle. He was a better heel than he was a babyface IMHO.
I remember watching this as a kid and it was one of the best moments in all of wrestling because, at the time, we didn't have the internet sheets to look at and know that Liz and Randy were already married, to us it was the culmination of a five year relationship that had been pretty rocky and Randy had finally gotten his sense back and was getting things together by finally ditching Sensational Sherrie and proposing to Liz. Totally Awesome.
What are you talking about... This was the longest going story they ever had. Are you saying you didn't like the Steamboat/Savage fued... guest what it was just a chapter in this story line. Infact to say this was a dumb story line shit all over most of savage's entire WWE (and some WCW) carrer
