I watched this video because a friend of mine has a golden retriever who just had 7 puppies and they'll be given to the Guide Dog Foundation and I had never witnessed a dog give birth. A lot less noisy than a human one!

Oh, and for names, I think Sassy is beautiful for a girl and I have a boy Cavalier King Charles which I just got 1 week ago for Valentine's Day from my hubby and I named him "Dash" after Queen Victoria's beloved Dash. I think it's original, you don't hear that name alot for a Cav, usually Cavalier owners choose names like;

King,Charles,Charley,Duke,.. you know name that represent the breed, royal names.

I remember when my dog had puppies November 17, 2011. She had 3 beautiful puppies, I got to keep one of them ! So lucky she's here because when she was born she was having a hard time breathing and my mother opened her mouth and breathed into it and helped her breathe again. I love her so much.

First of all, your dog is beautiful.

But there are way too many people around watching (and touching!) something that is very private and that in the nature a dog would do alone in a den or somewhere sheltered. You are not giving the mum any privacy or space to do her job, your hands are everywhere 'helping' her and petting her and the pups when she doesn't need that, dogs and wolves have done it alone for thousands of years.
