@inyutachi45 how evan looks now is how he was supposed to look, they wanted a heavy hitter on the younger team in other words their age wolverine, they made him more approachable and added the extra bulk later to better introduce it to the younger kids. he was never meant to replace marrow and technically she actually takes out bones that grow back his power is an extra hardened extension of his bones which is why he drinks milk in an earlier episode for the lack of protein after fighting
