  • @Hockey31197

    Ya, your moms pussy.

  • im using this for my central studies research the teacher recommended it to me :)

  • wood sticks are trash. You have to buy sixty of those at once, well atleast they are cheap...

  • should have been on how its made lmfao

  • im from kingston ! ;)

  • "few things are as elegant as curved polished wood"

  • Since both sides of this argument don't include Americans why do you bring us up?

  • That what she said

  • 1.6 million sticks a year. Awesome. Awesome video too. Thinking in my head I figured it would take a long complicated process but that is way more than I thought would go into it.

  • The SHAFT Has to dry and HARDEN.

  • Sounded like Mark Tewksbury

  • This Girl Sounds Homo?

  • id love to have that job amazing vid thanks for posting it

  • Ye bastards! It's Hurling not

And secondly Hockey refers to Field Hockey not Ice Hockey!

    Get it right!!

  • oi yanks! this isnt hockey retards its ice hockey.actual hockey is played in europe on an astroturf and is aprox 100000000 times better than ice hockey

  • @buzzed1029384756 Yanks? Hockey is Canada's game! And ice hockey is way better than any other kind. Who ever heard of hockey played on astroturf? lol...

  • @captain150

i hate to remind u but the british soldiers made ice hockey from field hockey.

and also come to europe then ask that question

  • @buzzed1029384756 I can't hear you over all of Canada's Olympic gold medal wins.

  • So this title should be "how shitty sticks are made"

  • GO RED WINGS ! :D

  • @doughnutugy1

    GO SHARKS ! :D :D :D

  • @jarejay The sharks are my 2nd favourite. Hope they go all the way*dont take that out of context*

  • Can't beat field hockey

  • Hockey was not invented in Kingston Ont. It was invented in Windsor Nova Scotia! You can tell this video was made in Ontario, they can't stand losing that argument. We have documented evidence of the natives in Halifax playing it in 1750, before the British soldiers in Ontario played.

  • I like Brooks Moore better

  • Next up composite goalie sticks for example my sexy one95's lol I hope they make a segment on that

  • i use a wooden hockey stick its a bauer i love it

  • man, watching these guys work in factories, look how fast and accuractly they do the stuff thats needed by hand each and every time. How long do you think it takes them to get enough experience to do that. I cant even imagine walking in there as the new guy and fucking up while taken it slow just tryn to learn that shit

  • HA!!!!!!!! Hockey was invented by the British.

  • @NastyNoodle long before that actually, its origins actually trace back all the way to BC. i dont remember the details, been a long time since i researched this, but i do remember it started with an acient civilization. (read up on it if your interested, and not off websites better to grab a good reference like a book :D)

  • 0:57 mario lemiux

  • @mmakate48 most of them are made in canada

  • what glue do they use to glue the birch? expoxy or wood glue?

  • @petertheasian wood glue

  • where are these sticks made?

  • it was made in nova scotia

  • you mean fiber glass.... or graphite

  • idk. i only use wood for when i'm shooting in my driveway.

  • dude the only reason you think they're better is because they cost more

  • Man, that was cool. I'd like to have that as a job... I bet it's harder than it looks though.

  • the canadian announcer sticks... lol what a hoser. I like the U.S. guy better - even though the new How Its Made is better.

  • old school :-) I still use a wood/fibre blade w/ TPS shaft

damn I'm yet another guy who started with a Koho Rev as his 1st hockey stick.. wow lol. kids just learning these days definitely don't need a $200 stick, just get them a nice wood one to learn how to stickhandle and shoot.

too bad the $30-ish aluminum sticks aren't too easy to find anymore, I had one of those too and they were pretty good for starting out. they'd last forever, just need to stick a new $15-20 blade on

  • lawl

i used to use a wood stick...

then my dad got a job XD

  • LMAO

  • i just got my one95 87 flex naslund curve...

but it sucks cause in canada its $239.00

  • my first stick was a rbk 4k i bought it in 2006

  • Wood has a better feel. I am mostly comfortable using a wooden stick, I have tried the aluminums and composites, they are nice, but I prefer wood. This looks like the old Sher-Wood factory in Sherbrooke which is no longer making wooden sticks.

  • ok Thanks

  • I use a wood stick. For me the wood sticks really help me work on my slapshot. I know this because if i don't use the right technique my hands will hurt from the vibration of the shaft.

The stick i use is a wood tps response.

What stick would you recommend for me if i get a composite stick? Please Reply Anyone

  • if u are looking for the best performance et the stealth 217 but if ur looking for a high performance stick that will last u a while get a bauer vapor xxxorxxxx, if u don't want to spend a buch of money on a stick get a synergy

  • If your buying your first hockey composite stick dont buy a exspencive one like nike bauer one 95 or reebok 9k buy prehaps a Easton se11

  • get like a koho revolution, thats what i started with.

  • yah i started with the revolution too

  • I'd say go with something along the lines of a Bauer One55, not too bad, but cheap for a composite.

  • yah thats a good one too.

  • same

  • no one uses wood sticks, everyone has composite sticks. even sher wood makes those swd composite sticks

  • pleny of people use wood even a few pros im sure

  • this video was probably made in Sherbrooke, Qc since there are more stick made there than anywhere else on Earth!

  • lol when was this video made? barely anyone uses wood now, maybe Bobby Holik?

  • wood hockey sticks own ass ;)

  • spezza and naslund do to but spezza says he's gonna try a composite in the summer

  • man that guys voice was pissing me off. I want to know about composite sticks now too.

  • I've always wanted to make a hockey stick in woodwork class.. But I guess I can't anymore because we don't have all the materials.
