  • You need to configure your graphics cards bios and change all the clock to the same speed ;)

  • The way I made this game run smoother is by typing in the console gfx_maxfps 30.

I have the 4850 and only seems to do it in DX10 and after about an hour the game crashes every time.

  • @stefdom3 Thanks for that but I don't have the 4870 anymore (running a 4870x2 now( and I don't play FarCry2 anymore because I hate it lol

  • it isn't only you ATI guys. I have a 8800 GTS 512, quad core cpu and same problem. "Tish" over at ubisoft seams to think that the game is over powering my system, and that newer sound drivers would magically fix the problem. im calling tomorrow to get a refund. I know that they won't do that for games, but honestly, I've been sold a defective product. I've turned my computer inside out, Dunia has absolute shit architecture.

  • yeah I know. I wish Crytek made this game it's complete garbage

  • I have the same graphic card and the same problem :(. I install new catalyst drivers 8.10 and special hotfix for FAR CRY 2 but it nothing change :(. If You will know how reapir it plz tell me!
