  • best 240p ever

  • Billy's dancing is funny :)

  • as you can see in the title - it was in Charlotte, NC...

and if you want to hear a live version of the End is the beginning is the end.. you need to search for that title for videos filmed in 1997.

  • was this at the wang theater in boston? also fuck the remix version of this song, i want at least one normal version of this song up on youtube...

  • its not bad for a live version. hahaha

  • They'll probably stop playing it once the Watchmen hype dies down.

  • Haha... no, I doubt it- this song has been played for many years... just not so much "mainstream"... which is fine with us pumpkin fans

  • I dunno, U2 doesn't play "Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me" anymore, but then again maybe they don't want to be associated with the Schumacher films.

Perhaps if the other version of this song were on a better movie, it would be played more often, but then why does RATM play "No Shelter" live anymore?

  • @tolchok89 I agree with thevix,

they have always played this song. and now other people know it through that one watchmen trailer.

  • @jamesthemod i guess im not that huge of a pumpkin fan because i heard it on the trialer for the gay ass watchmen movie and thought it was new pumpkins and got confused because last i heard they broke up...i could be wrong either way damn good song

  • @coleycoleyface420 nah, it was actually written for the Batman movie, but i thought Billy actually hated this song because it wasnt used enough in that movie or something like that

when it comes to this song, i think its just a Pumpkin enigma haha

  • @coleycoleyface420 Im not either (a big fan of this band), just knew it as an old song. Wasnt having a go or anything. Dont you hate how youtube makes everything people write seem like they are having a go at everyone?? lol

Try the film again, you may like it...:-)

  • @tolchok89 This song was on the Batman and Robin soundtrack. Watchmen was the second movie it was on. The reason he played this had nothing to do with a movie. He pulled out all kinds of rare gems in 08 that no one expected. I hate when people try to speak of things of which they have no clue of. Especially about SP. Because the average fan knows absolutely nothing about SP.

  • Billy Corgan has worn dresses/skirts since the very early 1990's. This is nostalgic to most of us, and simply questions for the rest...: ) word.

  • Great show.

This song made up for the lack of Cherub Rock that night.

  • because he is billy freaking corgan

  • just asking. whys he wearing a skirt?

  • because he forgot to do laundry?

  • hahhahahahah possibly!

  • Hmmm....Make me confused ..I see the name of this song is " beginning is the end of beginning" Or "The end is the beginning of the end" ????

  • This version of the song (the slower version) is called "The beginning is the end is the beginning"

  • thanks a lot. i was finding it hard to read the two larger titles at the top of the page.

  • this song is sick in the Watchmen trailer

  • I've had the batman and robin soundtrack since it was released. I can honestly say i never thought i would get to see this song played live. It has been my favourite song by the pumpkins for a very long time... i'm in a permenant state of shock.

  • I was really happy to hear this one!

  • Amazing song, also the end is the begginig... wich is not the same

  • Yep. Both amazing songs.

I love that they made two versions. It's like- depending upon which mood you're in! ;)

  • Actually they're two different songs. The lyrics are different, only the chorus is the same I think.

  • This version was the rejected version for the batman movie. Corgan was told it was too dark, so he changed the lyrics slightly, and made it more rock and less alternative.

  • that's a shame i like both but this one would have me thinking Batman way more then the other one. I can actually see Poison Ivy being seductive more so to this version. Mr. Freeze is a big guy thats cold as ice. So the slower tempo would have worked as well with him.

  • thats pretty much it

  • I had goosebumps the entire show, especially during this song.

    It was so cool. :]

  • WOW! This is GREAT!! I was there, but on the first row of the mezz. I thought the setlist was amazing, and I feel so fortunate to have seen a show from this tour.

Thanks for posting!! I LOVE SP!!!

  • LOL, shit this blows my balcony video way great stuff man!

  • How did you get pit tix for this show? I don't even think they were listed on Ticketmaster. But a great show (even from the mezz!), and a really cool vid. Thanks for sharing!

  • Hey, we had row A tickets and the person at the pit asked us if we wanted to upgrade to the pit. Apparently- there were supposed to be pit tickets.. not sure why that didn't happen. So it was just good fortune for some dedicated SP fans.

  • Wow you were close!! I was at the Davenport, IA show...this tour kicks ass!
