Declan is the reason why I fell in love with RENT when I saw it on the national tour in '07. I never saw the show years ago or anytime on Broadway. I have great memories of seeing Dec and the rest of the cast performing. I really wish I would have seen the Broadway show when he was doing the show:( I didn't have a chance to.
I managed to get over from England to see Rent in New York before it closed (after much begging) and I met Declan and the guy who's playing Roger after the show - they were both lovely and both fantastic when I saw them. If I remember rightly it was Benny that took our photograph as well...perfect night. Rent has changed my life, like everyone elses, and I'll miss it terribly.
Declan was Roger. Did you mean the other guy playing Mark? If so.. it was probably Harley Jay or Adam Kantor. Both fantastic. I do agree... all the cast members that I've ever met are so nice too. The Benny you met was probably Rodney Hicks.. one of my favorite Bennys.
awhh i met him years ago wen he was in point break at the disney channel kids awards in birmingham, hes absoloutly lovely
