  • Oh I'm so glad they rehired Johnny. That is GREAT!!! And Rose and the cook made up. All is well. I love this series, thanks so much. Watched it on a snowy day Feb.1 and was warmed by the glow of this series.

  • @marym499 Me too this was so beautiful and so well made what a lovely episode.

  • I've watched the three episodes of the new series three times now...my God, how I love them!! BBC One has just GOT TO make this into a full series. Thanks again - from London, Canada.

  • I hope they do too! It is so wonderful to have the show back on tv again thanks again for doing this for us ex pats!

  • Oh thank you so much!! I loved the original 1970s versions of Updown and these three new episodes are superbly written, well acted and directed. Doing this on film instead of video tape works. Venturing in completely new directions with a new cast including Eileen Atkins yet keeping Jean Marsh as Rose was a splendid idea. I sure do hope BBC One makes it into a regular series.

  • @rskissack I likewise hope they make more episodes! I have long adored Jean Marsh and her recreation of USDS is very very good. I just would like it better if Keeley's character were to be less stiff and "shrill;" because, I absolutely love her.

  • Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. Brilliant television.

  • arww keeley had a baby boy <3 iloveher x
