When I play Forge I usually start by building 1 H.supply pad followed immediately by the base upgrade and then if my warthog gathers the resources while i wait i get enough to buy my next supply pads, just saves time :)

How come you can't? Unless you live in Australia (in which case, of course it's expensive, and i'm sorry), but Xbox live is fairly cheap if you live on a mainland continent. Here in Canada, a year subscription of Xbox Live comes to just over $70 (after tax).

You should have picked the Prophet of Regret, You aren't picking up crates at the start that much, and The Prophet is supah powerful. You've got supplies fast anyway, so probably a upgraded Prophet rush would've been good by the looks to your building settup (6 supply depo things, and shiny energy building). You didn't set up Barracks so you won't have much defense, but the Covenant have dah shields...I haven't seen the other parts, im just telling what I would have done at the start

My TV has the ability to output it's video and audio to a secondary source; in this case, my HTPC. A computer that I use solely for recording, that I built from spare parts. It has a PCI-E capture card, though it's low quality and the bundled software doesn't give me any ability to tinker with the resolution or codec; it's always MPEG-4. I then convert it into WMA format (and split it if necessary) and then upload to youtube.

I disagree. I think that he should have built a second reactor. This could have made a rear guard base to resupply a forward ops base. By putting all your resource gathering bases towards the back you can dedicate all your manufacturing up front. I use this tactic to field a shitload of tanks for a continuous armored push.

Regardless of how many supplies he has, it's still 30 seconds for a tank. And I gain resources fast enough to have a tank always being built. I'm also not stupid, so I would take out his vehicle depot ASAP, preventing him from getting more than one or two tanks, while I have at least 3.

Oh and don't tell me he would counter with the 'hogs. Tanks pwn 'hogs naturally, and even more when you micro them like I do.

scarabs can be good if you counter effective units against it. When I play against anders I make maybe 10 vampires and a scarab and hunters if they make cobras so it doesn't get boned immediately. Then you have the most effective building killer in the game
