Cornyn said the President needed these powers.

Hutchinson said that no American citizens could be held under 1031 and 1032. She said expert legal minds had told her these provisions did not apply to American citizens.

So Cornyn is fascist and Hutchinson is just plain ignorant.

Carl Levin is one of the Senators here in Michigan. It pains me to know that he's the co-founder behind this bill along with Senator McCain. I heard about this bill from NewGrounds and am really upset about my Senator putting such vile details into the bill. To me this is a sign that the vast majority of the U.S. House and Senate DO NOT read between the lines of the bill, or at all. What should happen now? President Obama should VETO the bill, and Sens. McCain and Levin should be IMPEACHED!!
