This captain marvel blows. Anytime you get a flash player spamming that around the world garbage just wait for them to do it while guarding and punish them for it afterwards.
Since when Shazam can make lighting come from his wrists? I been watching his comics since the 70's & 80's & he didn't do it then. In addition, Flash is too fast to get hit by anyone, except Jay Garrick, the Orginal Flash. Seems to me if Shazam would hit Flash one time, he'd kill him. Hey, doesn't he supposed to have the speed of Mercury?
@rickames A: if we are talking about barry allen as the flash no jay garick could not chatch him barry is faster. B: the speed of mercury is nothing compaired to the speed force. C: Capitin needed more powers then just super strength and the word of power to fight with so they let him have lightning fists. Though in the newer comics its showen black adam has the abiltiy to do something similar to that. since they have identical powers captin marvel should be able to as well.
a seemingly solid punch by capt marvel, endowed with super-strength, doesn't take out the flash. i suppose this could be explained by the flash's speed enabling him to roll with every punch. some kind of move is needed that would allow capt. marvel to grab and hold the flash. then it would be like the scene with Micky Rourke vs. Elijah Wood in Sin City. If you're imoblized and within reach of a stronger opponent, all the agility and speed in the world won't save you. at least as i see it.

In certain ways, this game was actually better than Mortal Kombat 9, but it just doesn't have much content. How does a crossover between a mythology as big as Mortal Kombat's and the DC Universe not even have an art gallery?

The Flash is my favorite hero. Captain Marvel has the power of the gods so duh he could outdo The Flash in strength,wisdom,power,etc. but hes not as fast no matter what anyone says. The Flash IS the fastest hero or villian and one of the Flash (Bart Allen) actually absorbed the speed force. But the Flash doesn't just move quickly, he can vibrate his molocules to phase through walls, talk at a speed not audible by normal people, and can resist telepaths due to how fast he can think.
In normal DC universe, Capt Marvel would OWN Flash so much. Captain Marvel is almost just as great as Superman, in terms of strenght and speed & such.... Even tho Marvel & Flash look alike, I always confuse them lol...

The developers of this game did not include all of Captain Marvel's attributes. No one ever really explore all of Captain Marvel Abilities, comics, TV, movies or Games. I'm not buying this result. Captain AMrvel is every bit as fast as the Flash (speed of Mercury) and much stronger (strength of Hercules) and more powerful (power of Zeus). He is also invulnerable and has more stamina (stamina of Atlas). Thus he shoeld totally "pwn" the Flash here.

Who has Superman owning Captain Marvel? They should be on an equal level of strength, speed, and inivulnerability, and though Superman has heat vision, he is vulnerable to magic, and CM is a product of magic. On top of that CM has the wisdom of Solomon, which should help him come up with a strategy to defeat the Son of Krypton (or anyone else for that matter).
Well in the end superman beat him by using his own magic against him, holding him in the way of his SHAZAM! But in the new superman/batman public enemies movie, he beats him again but doesnt show specifically how. Maybe batman beat him up lol
Read the comics, Not base it of CLASH from Justice League. Like a comic book, their title character is to come out on top, JL the animated series is the same way, though you should watch it. Superman had his butt on his shoulders the entire episode, was jealous, and look at the carnage and fragile that town was. But watch the end-Marvel's speech kicked their butt.Venerated Hawkgirl from in the episode. Flas is faster than Superman though, so you have that comfort.
In the comic series Justice, Superman freely admits that he cannot keep up with the Flash's speed since the Flash is under control and can't stop. It is then established that Captain Marvel is able to at least keep pace with the Flash and Captain Marvel ends up saving him. Not Superman. And I'd like to see how Supes would do against Lord Marvel, being god-like and all with powers far beyond what he was as Captain Marvel.
They were wrong. Flash taps into the Speed Force. Mercury/Hermes Created the Speed Force. In War of the Gods, Hermes and Mercury were speeding through the city, Flash decided to run in on it. Like the Coyote in a ROadrunner cartoon, they looked back at him, and zoomed off leaving him as if he stopped. Since Capt. Marvel has this ability as well, and Flash couldn't get them with his Speed Force, then Cap is faster. Cap also has the strength to put Flash in orbit. But that is the flaw with Supers
But yet in the "Justice" storyline (which is an excellent read), flash's body was taken over by nanobots, which caused him to speed outta control around the planet.
No one could catch up to him in order to stop him, not even superman, which prompted him (supes) to say to billy (Capt. Marvel): "bill, U have the speed of a god (mercury), to which Capt. Marvel turned it on FULL THROTTLE & was able to catch up to flash & stop him..
if that was the case then i must have this flash confused with another. but i doubt it. just because he sped out of control doesn't mean he tapped into his full power. its likely he didn't even tip the ice burg since wally is MANY times faster than the speed of light and simply zooming around the planet at mach 8 or higher is enough to kill bystanders. marvel himself is faster than light but not to the degree flash is since flash has unlimited access to the speed force itself. he literally

long story short marvel (while impossibly fast) still doesn't touch wally's speed since his speed is immeasurable. fun fact- wally has seen a lot of weird things in his life. aliens, planet destroying monsters ect ect, that being said he doesn't take anything for granted and few things strike him as odd "why is this relevant" you ask? because he can RUN AT ANY SPEED HE THINKS HE CAN.
don't know if you wish to count justice though? and that's only saying marvel could keep up with him at the speed he was going, which was still way too fast for superman, he could probably go faster if he wanted, i think it just caused him to run without control, just not at full force

In normal DC universe, Capt Marvel would OWN Flash so much. Captain Marvel is almost just as great as Superman, in terms of strenght and speed & such.... Even tho Marvel & Flash look alike, I always confuse them lol...

@JiS01 In normal DC Universe Flash is one of the most powerfull non omnipotents.His mastery of the Speed Force lets him basicly "freeze" any non omnipotent character and he can deliver thousands of Superman level punches in a second.

@SouthParkBear He didnt get super strong,and its not exactly new,Flash has been using the IMP(Infinite mass punch) for ages.When he reaches speeds close to lightspeed(which he does easily) his punch takes on the mass of a white dwarf star,or as some characters say it INFINITE mass,making his punches around Superman level.He knocked out a white martian(creature with Superman level durability) with one punch,and he can deliver thousands ina fraction of a second....to be continued..

........And the Speed Force alows him to steal the speed of others,making them basicly statues while making Flash even faster.In one comic he made an entire city inlcluding Superman and several other speedsters stand perfectly still as he stole their speed.You mention deus ex machina,Flash has been using those powers for years,its just stupid writing that makes him lose to street thugs,Flash is probably the most powerfull non-omnipotent DC superhero if we go by feats and not story...

Seeing the Flash fight Captain Marvel is soooooooooooooooo silly. Mortal man who is really fast versus magical djinn like creature who is not only really fast (wielding the speed of the GOD OF SPEED) but also has the strength of Hercules and is INVULNERABLE via the Power of Zeus. Cap would laugh at Flash's 'onslaught' and then cluck him.

Captain Marvel was awesome. This game really did his good name justice. I think he could've broken the Flash after the Flash beat his ass for about thirty rounds. Captain Marvel is almost a god, the Flash can only stand for so long until he tires out.

The biggest prollem is Captain Marvel and Black Adam are characters beyond the scope of "superheroes" They ar Beings with Infused GOD POWERS.
They have to be downscaled to fit in reguler stories or video games.
Superman isn't as Strong or Invulnerable as Captain Marvel, Nor is he as Intelligent.
Flash is the character known for Super Speed, But Captain Marvel is Capable of things he hasn't even tried to do...
The Wisdom of Solomon and Power of Zeus Qualities put him waaay above the others.

The developers of this game did not include all of Captain Marvel's attributes. No one ever really explore all of Captain Marvel Abilities, comics, TV, movies or Games. DC will never do Captain Marvel JUSTICE. DAMN! HATERS. Speed wise Marvel can go toe to toe with the the world's fastest mortal, Superman is not even in their class.

@Johonywuzhere , DO you homework son, Superman has admitted that captain marvel was faster that he was when he was able to catch up to the flash. DC encyclopedia has stated that CM strength is on par with Supemans and second to none. Captain marvel has defeated superman on several occasions.

I'm not buying this result. Captain AMrvel is every bit as fast as the Flash (speed of Mercury) and much stronger (strength of Hercules) and more powerful (power of Zeus). He is also invulnerable and has more stamina (stamina of Atlas). Thus he shoeld totally "pwn" the Flash here.
The irony is that the Flash's costume was inspired by the Big Red Cheese. Just ask Carmine Infantino!

Who has Superman owning Captain Marvel? They should be on an equal level of strength, speed, and inivulnerability, and though Superman has heat vision, he is vulnerable to magic, and CM is a product of magic. On top of that CM has the wisdom of Solomon, which should help him come up with a strategy to defeat the Son of Krypton (or anyone else for that matter).

Well in the end superman beat him by using his own magic against him, holding him in the way of his SHAZAM! But in the new superman/batman public enemies movie, he beats him again but doesnt show specifically how. Maybe batman beat him up lol

Read the comics, Not base it of CLASH from Justice League. Like a comic book, their title character is to come out on top, JL the animated series is the same way, though you should watch it. Superman had his butt on his shoulders the entire episode, was jealous, and look at the carnage and fragile that town was. But watch the end-Marvel's speech kicked their butt.Venerated Hawkgirl from in the episode. Flas is faster than Superman though, so you have that comfort.

In the comic series Justice, Superman freely admits that he cannot keep up with the Flash's speed since the Flash is under control and can't stop. It is then established that Captain Marvel is able to at least keep pace with the Flash and Captain Marvel ends up saving him. Not Superman. And I'd like to see how Supes would do against Lord Marvel, being god-like and all with powers far beyond what he was as Captain Marvel.

They were wrong. Flash taps into the Speed Force. Mercury/Hermes Created the Speed Force. In War of the Gods, Hermes and Mercury were speeding through the city, Flash decided to run in on it. Like the Coyote in a ROadrunner cartoon, they looked back at him, and zoomed off leaving him as if he stopped. Since Capt. Marvel has this ability as well, and Flash couldn't get them with his Speed Force, then Cap is faster. Cap also has the strength to put Flash in orbit. But that is the flaw with Supers

But yet in the "Justice" storyline (which is an excellent read), flash's body was taken over by nanobots, which caused him to speed outta control around the planet.
No one could catch up to him in order to stop him, not even superman, which prompted him (supes) to say to billy (Capt. Marvel): "bill, U have the speed of a god (mercury), to which Capt. Marvel turned it on FULL THROTTLE & was able to catch up to flash & stop him..

if that was the case then i must have this flash confused with another. but i doubt it. just because he sped out of control doesn't mean he tapped into his full power. its likely he didn't even tip the ice burg since wally is MANY times faster than the speed of light and simply zooming around the planet at mach 8 or higher is enough to kill bystanders. marvel himself is faster than light but not to the degree flash is since flash has unlimited access to the speed force itself. he literally

long story short marvel (while impossibly fast) still doesn't touch wally's speed since his speed is immeasurable. fun fact- wally has seen a lot of weird things in his life. aliens, planet destroying monsters ect ect, that being said he doesn't take anything for granted and few things strike him as odd "why is this relevant" you ask? because he can RUN AT ANY SPEED HE THINKS HE CAN.
