I currently have ez drummer with lots of expansions and im thinking about bying this one. My Questions:
>Does it really sound better than the ezdrummer? Cause to me it sounds worse.
I mean they've added lots of effects lik eq s compressors etc. , but that's not how i like to get a good sound! I want the original samples to be good.
>Can you load an ezdrummer kit in superior drummer and use it like before?
>Is it worth buying if i don't need the effects and i don't use the ready grooves library?
my superior drummer shows me triangles on all the cymbals and drums. and when i start the program up it says "the soundstat file of the "superior" product has an unusable format. this may indicate a faulty "sound path". what can help?
@EVguitarsNW hi i know you posted a while ago but if you still havent solved the problem, go onto the settings page, and make sure the path is set up right for your kit, it hadnt set it up right for me and was trying to get the sounds from a folder which didnt exist. Find where your folder is and tell it to look for that :D if you dont understand this or you dont know what i mean message me and ill try to help more :D
no you can use and acoustic set. But you need drumtracker. That will take the acoustic sound and turn it into MIDI files. From there you can map the midi's in superior! This way you get both the acoustic sound and trigger sound! getting a good acoustic recording will prove to be the most difficult task. But a good room, with SM57 and strong gateing, you can get a really good quality sound.
