just quick tips my dads been serving in the USMC for 21 years and has taken me to ranges and taugth me how the military shoots... take a wider base lean into the rifle more thats really it other than hat sick rifle how much it cost?
@97devilpup I lean into the rifle, its just that there was no need to that much considering the fact i wasn't really aiming and just spamming, but if I recall it was about $900? I don't remember exactly though, its been a while.
@97devilpup Heres the link (I hope its the correct one) I haven't taken it out in a while so I dont remember the EXACT build, but this should be it. I also got it at a gun show New so it was a little less pricey. Just make sure to replace the DOT with an actual period rockriverarms(DOT)com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=219
@Zach9898 I wasn't leaning back, nor forward. I just had it plainly shouldered. I'm more experienced with this weapon now, so I would currently lean into it a slight bit more, but i really didn't need to lean into it. 5.56/.223 rounds aren't that bad, so you can fire it quite easily without recoil affecting you.
Let me give you a little advice...cheek to stock well, and place the tip of your nose on the charging handle. Look down the sites and maintain the same sight picture, breath easy then gently pull on the trigger until the rifle fires.
@MaxxABillion thanks, i had my cheek buried in pretty well, but it was hard to get my nose into the charging handle because the stock was at point 4, chances are if i had my nose to the c. handle i might've done worse and i was pretty comfortable at where i was. But normally i dont shoot rapid like that, i just did that for youtube and because i wanted to trigger finger the last 30 rounds. i got 28/30 rounds on target and i always line up my sights and always exhale before each shot.
Just wondering, what kind of recoiling system does it have? is it a Piston or a DI do you know?

@aaron15hicks I would say up to deer would be the ideal choice. I've heard some people hunting ram though.
