the apparatus you have the handsonic going through, that's a korg product isn't it? I forget the name, but if its the one im thinkin about(which it sounds like it) thats freakin awesome. I recently got the microKorg synth and the roland spd-s sampler pad. fun stuff. like your jam
I've just discovered Handsonic online and I'm looking for a way to get one. I appreciate the explorations but can't help think about how it doesn't address the primordial essence of percussion as coherent groove (even with transitions). I guess that's why this is called a diary...
... well, I'm searching different things... yes it's a diary with all its daily imperfections, moods... don't know exactly what you are looking for... may be you can watch Handsonic diary#12 on this odiolorgnette channel... check out also 2 other channels: qiipnmidyorgomnug (watch #4 and #6) + handsonic1 (scratching adapted technics) ... both on youtube... w/ my best regards...
vous etes formidable, mon ami. all the best to you from a hand percussionist in the philippines (trying to learn as much varied world percussion in traditional form)...
this is quite cool. It seems you are sending/bussing only some sound from handsonic to the Kaoss pad. are you using a mixer, if so how do you set up patches and such to make that happen.
I like the sample/loop stuttering at the end, when you start when you play the effect, rather than just let it be passive.
I like the pinky-technique with the ribbon controller...
I use a kp-2 at my drumkit, and have to play it with sticks in my hands.
... no mixer... Handsonic + 2 Kaoss pad in this video... KP2 as seen on the left of the screen and a KP3 just below (not visible)... all the kits used here (and in all the videos up-loaded on youtube) are personal configurations and custom-made settings... re:Cheers!
Hi there I'm from Portugal And I enjoy your playing very much nice grooving with Handsonic and Kaoss pad I think If you buy the KD-7 for kick drumming it will be awsome.Keep on grooving.
... Roland KD-7 kick drum is not really useful with Handsonic... w/ 10 fingers on the pad it's enough to play... Let's consider the Handsonic as a different instrument that is not supposed to replace real drums... all the best...
damn pretty sick!!
this is evolution in music.

great technique. you're using the little finger to hit the ribbon while still drumming on others?
