At the end of "Dark Knight Returns", Batman has to plan an attack on Superman, basically to beat Superman to a pulp and make him understand the wrong he has done by being the Government's lap dog and getting rid of all the other superheroes... that "the American Way" does not consist of letting the government get arrogant, secure in the knowledge that whatever the world's response, Superman will clean their clocks.
There are different kinds of intelligence. Superman has a Kryptonian brain which makes him very good at the sciences. But he considers Batman to be the most dangerous man alive. The best way I know to put it is that Superman can fight a battle-- Batman can plan a war. It is a pretty safe bet that Batman has devised means to neutralize or if need be even kill, every superhero out there, in case they go bad. Batman has the strategy skills.
you superman fans are idiots. its been proven batman is smarter then batman in so many ways. superman is smart i give him that but he's basically on the same level as batman not above. superman has admitted that batman was even smarter then him. plus for every scenario batman always has 5 backup plans and he has encased his memory just incase someone tries to hack his memory. superman relies more on brawn and speed batman relies on his brain at every moment and he's excellent at bluffing people.

There are different kinds of intelligence. Superman has a Kryptonian brain which makes him very good at the sciences. But he considers Batman to be the most dangerous man alive. The best way I know to put it is that Superman can fight a battle-- Batman can plan a war. It is a pretty safe bet that Batman has devised means to neutralize or if need be even kill, every superhero out there, in case they go bad. Batman has the strategy skills.

you superman fans are idiots. its been proven batman is smarter then batman in so many ways. superman is smart i give him that but he's basically on the same level as batman not above. superman has admitted that batman was even smarter then him. plus for every scenario batman always has 5 backup plans and he has encased his memory just incase someone tries to hack his memory. superman relies more on brawn and speed batman relies on his brain at every moment and he's excellent at bluffing people.

@natsu5291 I agree. I'm a big Superman fan, but it's pretty clear that Batman is head and shoulders above all other superheroes in terms of sheer cleverness. Plus, these kind of specific discussions are always really difficult when it comes to comic book characters, seeing as just how extreme the variation between writers can be.

Why are you batman fans so.......not smart. Superman comes from a race of super smart beings, their intelligence was way beyond anything a human could understand. Superman was taught that, look no matter how much private school bats went too he cant out smart the man of freakin steel.
