@HannahG89 - Willow is indeed a sun conure. Jenday don't have as much yellow as Willow will eventually have. In this video he was only about 6 months old and had only flecks of yellow in his wings - some suns don't get all their bright colors until they are over a year old. Over the last few months we have watched Willow's yellow feathers coming in slowly, it is very exciting and we can't wait to see what he will look like.
This video is so cool! i am thinking of getting a sun conure myself but i will probably not have any idea of how to show him how to play dead or anything too fancy- just maybe to fetch or something
@fishythefirst - You can do it! We use clicker training. Willow can wave hi, turn around, and play dead. Check out a book called Clicker Training for Birds by Melinda Johnson.
Ahh yes, MonaMarie, I apologize. I didn't realize how young he was in the video XI
Now I feel silly. I suppose I'm a little hair-trigger about things like that sorry.
Anyway, enjoy him, he looks like a well mentally-stimulated and cared for bird!

@HannahG89 - no need to feel silly. Willow is great - always playing and very curious.

That isn't a Sun Conure, it's a Jenday conure.
