yes, I quite agree with you; Uyghurs are a mix of Caucasians and East Asians. But do you know that Turks ARE a mix of Caucasians and East Europeans. That's how we separate from our relatives that are not mixed with Caucasians: Mongols, Buryats, Koreans, Japanese.
I also must say that ALL Han Chinese cannot be blamed for all injustuce and discrimination towards Uyghursin China. But Chinese communists and their supporters are responsible for that.

1. Uyghurs are NOT Chinese. They are Chinese subjects. Chinese is an enthinic identity, unlike, say American, e.g. there is a term 'American Chinese' which only proves that it is an ethnic identity.
2. I must admit, that 'chink' is a derogatory term and it should not be used for all Han Chinese. Chinks are those Han Chinese who hang around the Tube and say spiteful things about Uyghurs. Prior to Tube, I didn't know there existed such dirty staff said about my ethnicity.
