Did occur to any of you that possibly there are different ways to do this? Obviously, someone taught this lady to do it the way she is teaching it. She must have experience twirling a baton. (By the way, I only had a "toy" baton as a young girl. My mom taught me some twirling, but I long since forgot, because we just don't have much of this in our part of Canada). I think possibly Ontario has quite a bit of this.

Ok. For all of you rude people who have nothing better to do than criticize this woman, she said herself that she doesn't do it as much as she did when she was younger. Buy a professional video if you want a professional performer. Do you expect anything that's free to be perfect?? She's helping out beginners, she isn't teaching technique, just moves. Calm down and get over yourselves.

@guardcaptain1030 Even if she hasn't done it as much as she used to, at least she could learn the correct technique and terminology. What she's doing now is teaching incorrect technique and bad habits. She's doing more harm than good, which is exactly the WRONG thing to do with new twirlers. Its going to take months or even years to undo the errors she's teaching them.

with the flashes you don't twirl between your fingers. when you are flashing infront of your body keep your baton straight until you reach over your head then do a loop behind your head. then just lower the baton (STRAIGHT) to your side. and yw(:

Just a suggestion 'expertvillage' : Try watching the girls twirl @ AYOP (for anyone who knows anything about baton twirling). that should be a 'wake-up call' to who the real experts are!

I've been twirling for 11 years! She makes the advanced girls look stupid, passing is not hard or even difficult in anyway. High toss illusions arn't even interesting anymore. This girl needs to get some serious help with her baton skills, because my grandma can do that. well when she misses three fingers that is a four finger twirl over the top of the hand now to do the grapevine you twirl the four finger twirl then you also do it on back but you go straight into the move
