defenitely a taper fade, but in my opinon it's more of a bald taper, he has wavy hair texture though, and the darkness is either from a hair dye/color enhancer and pomade, he defenitely has some pomade grease in there tho cuz in the front of his hairline it's super slicked down

everyone can get waves..it just depends on how loose your natural wave pattern is..ppl like the dude in the video have a looser wave pattern so his waves are spaced out more..ppl with kinkier hair have smaller waves spaced closer to each other
