I haven't seen a video of Kismet in a long time. It's amazing how precise the designers made his emotions and facial expressions; I could tell the exact meaning behind each "do you really think so?". pretty cool. I do believe he was the first robot I ever read about or saw, I guess that was when I was six or seven years old.

I'm reading a book by Maggie Jackson titled "Distracted: The Erosion of Attention and the Coming Dark Age," which is a fascinating read. She mentions this work by Breazeal , Ph.D. recipient from MIT, which I out of interest searched on Youtube. Watching this clip has stirred up some feelings (and not emotions) within me. And reading some of the nasty comments here has added to the credibility of Jackson's tenet: are we becoming less human-like, and more machine-like?
