I think for pp90 you HAVE to have kick but for mp7 it recoil is freakin amazing. mp7 rapes pp90 at longer range but pp90 is amazing up close so im not sure which is better. I like mp7 more as an a opinion. I hve 68,000kills with it and only 12,000 with pp90

@MattTheOak Yeah I know it kind of sounded that way. In my opinion the MP7 is the better all around gun. If we're just looking at close range smg situation though the PP90 with extended mags and rapid fire will win every time. The MP7 behaves more like a hybrid ar/smg in this game, which is what makes it great in my opinion.

Watching this video without using the guns, I'd probably go for the PP90 first, however, since I'm close to 30,000 kills in TDM gameplay, I recommend the Mp7, Rapid Fire, Range setup. I've got 8 Custom classes and 4 of them have an Mp7 of some setup. On shorter range maps I use a rapid fire/extended mag set up because you won't be doing much if any long range fire.

the pp90 seems to fail me sometimes... also the feel of an mp7 just feels better to me than the pp90m1. The iron sights are clearer on mp7. To me, the mp7 is better for long range, even though this vid shows the pp90m1 is better.

@TheUNofficialNHL The video shows the MP7 being better a long range as it's a 5 bullet kill, the PP90 is 6. The PP90 really only shines at close range and just out side of that. Once it drops to a 5 bullet kill it's worthless. I LOVE the MP7, best all around gun in the game.

I honestly think both guns have low recoil and all like you said. So I normally prefer using silencer/extended mags because to me both guns have good fire rates without rapid fire, so they still have the power to get kills and everything.

@qsewfgth No it serves the same purpose. The problem is if you us it on a gun like the PP90 with a fairly small clip and a high rate of fire it will be tough to kill more than a couple targets without reloading. I like using the silencer and rapid fire on the P90 because of it's larger clip.

You forgot to mention the fact that MP7 barely has any visual recoil while the PP90 bounces like a rere. That's why the MP7 dominates at longer ranges.

Do you find the muzzle flash from the PP90 obscuring your eye sight though and making aiming harder? I tried it awhile ago and I felt like I couldn't see or hit anything... Definitely a good gun tho, I've been running the PP90 with extended mags and a silencer for a while and I love it. Great videos btw!

@Am0ngtheFall3n It did at first but I kind of learned to just aim center mass and not pay attention to the sights on the gun. If you notice the bullet shoot out of the middle of the sights not the top so that bothered me at first as well.

If you are new to this game I recommend the pp90 it's a great gun for starters

But if your a skilled player I HIGHLY recommend the mp7

I always gone against players with pp90 and 90% of the time I win the gun fight with the mp7

I have drastically increased my k/d ratio when I started using a setup consisting of PP90M1+Ext.Mags+Silencer with Steady Aim and Specialist but was very disappointed when I unlocked the MP7. I have a hard time dealing with vertical recoil when hip firing from close. I hope the Range+Suppressor will help. Thanks for the tips!

MP7 hip fire is beast. you walk into a room and you do more splash damage then the pp90m1. also if you want accuracy then mp7 all the way. i think rapid fire and extended mags makes the mp7 do more damage. i may be wrong but it feels that way

I personaly love the mp7, but I tend to go with extended mags and silencer. The mp7 got such a low recoil that i can use it at almost any range, and it's not hard to hit with five bullets with it.

I remember one time I was on B flag on Village and I heard an enemy's footsteps as he ran under the bridge so I cooked a grenade and it blew up right in his face giving me a kill and making laugh so much. @marLamaDeo Thanks! Funny you mention Trev. He's kind of the reason I started doing these. Nothing against him but he seems to have started slacking off a little. Like his shotgun video where he talked about whether range or damage was better but only tested in using one gun. If you're going to claim a certain prof is better than another for an entire class of weapons you need to test them all in my opinion. Especially shotguns where they don't all shoot the same amount of pellets.

Unbelievable video. I'm subbing and liking. I actually like and use the Steady Aim PRO feature over the hip-firing feature, as a run and gunner. Raising my sights after running into an enemy, even though it's only seems like a few millisecond difference, is very beneficial.

@Stormwriter I was actually going to mention that but it didn't exactly coincide with the setup I was recommend. I would have told people to hipfire and at the same time told them to use steady aim pro so you can ads faster if you get caught sprinting lol. I just recommended hipfiring with the PP90 because it's actually a slight tighter spread than ADSing. No idea why they made it like that but they did. Probably a glitch like the FMGs where.

I recently got gold on the MP7 and have used both extensively. I totally agree with the pp90m setups and I see where you're going with the MP7. One thing I noticed when using any sights with the MP7 though is the bullet flash lights up the view area and blinds you while full auto. To get around this I have two setups with it. One is rapid fire/extended mags which I use on smaller maps. The other is the HAMR scope with a silencer. I have a love hate relationship with that scope but ...

@corvetteguy666 I find that since with the silencer it is going to be a 5 hit kill at most ranges the extra accuracy at range helps. The HAMR scope's higher zoom setting almost unusable with any of the SMGs without a silencer and especially if rapid fire is also attached.

@llamaeatataco I wanted to added that but it was getting a bit confusing already. For what it's worth they do essentially cancel each other out with these weapons as I tried it. If you have range + suppressor the 3 hit range will be right around where it is with no profs or attachments (so where the solid dots are).

Only question I still have that I am not sure if the video covered or not is what effect range has on these weapons with the suppressor on them? Does it cancel out the range reduction of the suppressor or no?

@dwidrick2010 Yeah I didn't add it because that part was dragging on a little. Essentially range will cancel out the effect of the suppressor so you can use the solid color dots to give you an idea of where the 3 hit kills would end with range + suppressor.

Great stuff. I've really enjoyed the mp7 with range and a red dot. It doesn't seem to need rapid fire and extra mags like other smgs. Very versatile and with slight of hand it is lighting quick to scope up.

Liked and subbed. My only suggestion, if it's at all possible, is to turn off annotations during the chart segment. I know I can turn them off but I think it would be a lot more welcoming for your viewers if you do so during the chart segments. Reason being is that the top right annotation was covering the class images.

I noticed one typo, when showing the classes, the second recommended setup you say to use the Specialist Package but you show Assault Killstreaks xD.

When you showed the range/damage maybe adding a Legend of what the dots mean because I can see that causing a bit of confusion.
